New sounds - Thunder, ambiance and weapons. Weather - Lighting. Environment - More misc objects, some buildings have changed, new graffiti and construction. Keeping with times - The Beat 102.7 has songs recently released over radio/albums and the recession is talked about many times. Niko - Seeing him walking the streets at the start of the game is cool Easter Egg. Effects - Better explosions, and fire coming out of the gas things in Alderny. Traffic - The William has now been added to ped traffic and buses drive around. Is there any cool things you've noticed? Then please share. Which if anyone remembers from GTA4, that Burger Shot was always packed with bikers sitting around outside talking. They're (him and Roman) getting chased by it in trailer 3. I forgot to mention that (maybe this is just me) but does Euphoria seem to be even more realistic (and Johnny doesn't get hurt as much from a bail) and car handling seems tighter? I hope he does, I f*cking loved that car, but it was incredibly hard to obtain (you fail the mission if you try to take it when saving Roman/getting Peggorino's gift back, but sometimes if you're really lucky it shows up in The Snow Storm). Mr. Niko Bellic Posted February 17, 2009 Share Posted February 17, 2009 Someone in a german forum noticed that after the GTA update there is no blood on the jacket after a gun fight anymore!!.. gone in Lost and Damned but also in GTA 4...and more..! there is no puddle of blood after you kill someone... i don`t now if it is just in the german version or in every version... german game was uncut.. till now i think Oo...did anyone noticed that? I hadn't checked that out yet, but that's a shame if the bikers are gone for good now. I loved hanging around there, maybe picking some fights. I was actually looking forward to heading over there as Johnny to see if there might be any different interactions. I noticed the toned down damage from wipeouts, too. I was driving down the hill that leads into the the Booth tunnel in Alderney, and ended up flying (quite high) off of my bike and landing just in front of the tunnel entrance only to get up with what seemed to be a very small amount of damage done. It's region specific, theres an entire post about this but so far it's only in Germany I believe. People from the US said that there's more blood if anything... I went to see if R* North did anything to the Heart of Happiness, and they didn't; the balcony has a different colour underneath (blue) and that's it. There must be easter eggs somewhere . Like is it that noticable to where it starts to bug you? I watched a lot of preview videos and couldnt really tell any major difference except for in cut scenes. I've only seen one Rhapsody so far and its not listed on the TLAD website, it's quite possible that if the Cheetah is there it just hasn't spawned for anyone yet. Something I've noticed is that the colours cars come in has been revamped and you now see more colourful vehicles, I've noticed many bright green and bright red Vigero's and the other 70's muscle cars. I also noticed that peds actually call for cabs on the sidewalk now. On top of that, there seems to more traffic and small groups of bikers driving around. And finally, more detail in some car debris(?). I don't know if there is actually buses driving around, but I did see one during a mission near the broker garage being driven.
