I want to rent a 360 and play the game. I should of bought the amazon.com deal but I wasn't sure what I was going to do. Seems buying it locally is cheaper since live will only let you buy 2000 points when I only need 1600. I have never used live before. 1st: You don't have to pay for a silver membership. Just create an XBL account (via xbox.com or console) and you have access to the marketplace where you can dl tlad. Or you could hook up your Windows Live ID with XBOX Live - that'll do fine as well (I did that and works fine). 2nd: Even with the silver account you'll be able to play mp the whole week if you buy tlad 3rd: Yes, you can buy points via credit card. Unfortunately you can only buy in steps of 500, 2000 and 5000 (?) - you just need 1600, meaning you have 400 in spare. You can spend that on other stuff, maybe a cheap movie (they are about 400 MSPoints). Have fun. Oh: You need the GTA IV DVD to play TLAD - be sure to get it as well. That shows the dedicated GTA IV fan I am. If I had the $$ I would just buy a 360. I hope I can experience the whole game in 3 days. Good thing I work at home.
