I buy the watch, leave, get in my Super GT (the only car I had at the moment), and I take my eyes off the screen and looked at my San Andreas Guide Book. I hear a plane out in the distance and a Rustler (plane) crashes next to Zip and blows me up. Have you guys have this random plane crashes. I think they crash because trees are too tall, or buildings are to big and plane just spawns next to it and rams it. The plane crashes are ment to happen. Even if they arn't, it's pretty fun. Once a plane crashed into the airstrip after I had saved there, again when I had saved at CJ's house. A plane crashed into OG Loc's. And when I had downloaded a mod which changed the map into Vice city's Map, a plane crashed into a dead tall building. (I got a pic too.) I don't ever go up there, which means I have never encountered any plane crashes there. You have to go to the top of Mount Chiliad to do the Chiliad Challenges though. If you haven't done those you should give them a try. On topic: I encountered a plane crash a few days ago where the plane went into the side of the Four Dragons Casino. That never happen to me before, but how did he exactly knew the plane was going to hit him, why did he video himself jumping? Did he expect the plane to him? Since I haven't seen the vid for a while, i'm not too sure about this, but he probably wasen't recording the jump, but when he saw it happen, he began recording and replayed the moment. Either that or he was trying to make a stunt video and that happened. @major underscore: I tried the Chilliad Challenge when I had the game on PS2, but I found it way too hard. major underscore Posted February 18, 2009 Share Posted February 18, 2009 @major underscore: I tried the Chilliad Challenge when I had the game on PS2, but I found it way too hard. I've never tried it on PC so I don't know if it's any easier then it is on PS2. There are actually three separate challenges, but you have to complete the previous challenge to unlock the next one. The key to completing them is to not be in a rush. If you go too fast there's a good chance you'll be riding that bike straight off the cliff. Of course it gets less difficult once you learn the routes. Also make sure you increase your biking skill, as this makes it less likely that you'll fall off the bike. Rockstar just liked them so much, and found the occasional one crashing into a mountain realistic enough to keep them in. So they're kind of a glitch-feature. Rhoda Posted February 18, 2009 Share Posted February 18, 2009 The worst thing about plane crashes is how they seem to strike at moments when you really could do with being on your own; I don't mind them when I'm pootling along on the road and one crashes in front of me, I find them great to watch. It's when you're trying to scale Mt. Chiliad with a Roadtrain and trailer, struggling to muscle your way past a restricting turn when they're most unwelcome. It was awful, this Rustler came from the trees, already smoking from flying too low and twatted my trailer. Once I was walking through the desert after I trashed a car, and one just randomy falls on me, rolls into a rock and explodes. I almost pissed myself laughing! Once, when I was doing the mission "Black Project," I was flying away from the base with barely any health left and then a plane hits me, I die, Computer goes bye-bye out the window. But one time I was being chased with two-stars and was riding across the bridge towards the SF overpass when a ruslter came out of nowhere, hit the bridge wires, fell down and blew up the cops wich chased me! Each time I was approaching the gate to leave the quarry a plane crashed into the truck. This happened three times in a row. I thought I would never finish that mission.
