CIANIDE
I am really diggin' it so far. I don't know what the IGN reviewer was talking about, I think these characters are GREAT! Another fantastic voice acting job, and not to mention the great facial expressions, especially on Billy. I have done about 5 missions so far and all haven't been disappointed once. The clubhouse is great, and its nice to see different biker ped's hanging out each time I come in. The memorial wall in my clubhouse is filling up a little quicker than I'd like. Its no easy task keeping the random Lost members alive in the big gun battles. As a matter of fact, a couple of them died because the morons got in front of me while I was shooting. In a way I feel bad though, R* put a lot of effort into making each guy an individual. They all have their own unique look and clothing so its not like San Andreas where you just pick up 3 identical fat guys with green shirts on. The new bike handling is so much more improved. It actually took a bit of time getting the hang of as I was so used to the clunky handling in GTA4. The one problem I have run into is riding in formation. This can turn into a mess real quick. I am never really positive on where exactly Billy is taking us so a lot of times I end up running into other Lost members because they all of a sudden slow down to take a turn. It's also fun to look back when Lost members are following me cause they don't always manuever as well as me and end up crashing into all sorts of stuff. But, hell that's only a minor thing since they always catch up. The more I play, the more I wish GTA4 had Johnny as the main character.

Dito I just finished the mission after which Billy tells you that Jason is dead. Now im going to play some cards. P.S.: Brian is just....ah i want to kill him. DRMetzger
Definitely pretty sweet so far, I was hoping the melee from bike would extend beyond the races but I suppose having the sawed off from a vehicle is good enough. After a few hunderd hours in the PC version it has been quite a transition going back to the 360, I feel like I'm almost needing to learn to play the game all over again, again. Still seems well worth the 20 bucks.
banxter667
Well, while driving around to see what new vehicles I could spot, I ran across 1 of 50 seagulls... more damn flying rats... ugh. Aside from that, I couldn't be more pleased for it being DLC. It's miles better than the Fable2 DLC that came out about a month(ish) ago. Also, all my old usual weapon pickups and static car spawns (namely the turismo in Faustin's driveway) are all there, so that's cool. 5 stars, hope the next pack of DLC is just as awesome. And I certainly hope we get to kill Billy, he seems like he deserves it.

Its great that they are having Hell's Headbangers distro for them too, it used to be a quite a pisser finding their records.

THIRTEEN
Does anyone else think he runs kinda weird like he's wounded? And even sometimes when he walks it seems glitchy. I also think they've really ampted up the diffulty. Its all good though!
coffeebeans
I love the game but I don't like how the grunge of being in a biker gang has spilled over into my hud and menus. I don't like the grungy hud and the new font. I wish I could turn it off and back to the other font. Otherwise the game has been great so far! Anton79
R* have really outdone themselves with this from the new title sequence you know this is going to be quality. The characters are great Billy especially is very funny. And the new bikes are fun and firing off a shotgun on my bike is godly.
CIANIDE
Seriously though, this kills any of the recent expansions released for other big Xbox games like Fallout 3 and Fable 2. My only complaint is that the DLC shouldn't be its own entity and should just be an addition onto Liberty City. As in, it should just open more interiors instead of opening new ones and closing the original ones when playing TLAD. More along the lines of the Fable 2 DLC. AnotherDave
I've done about 6 or so missions and some races and it seems good so far, nothing spectacular though and it's still too easy... 7/10. Actually 7.5/10 because Liberty City based Road Rash is never a bad thing.
Meadsy4742
I've just done the first mission when I had time this morning. Saving it for an all-nighter tonight So far I think it's a pure and simple fantastic GTA. I can see why they added the Noise Effect - the HUD and pause menu have been made grungier so why not the graphics? (I turned it off though - made me think I needed glasses) Checked out a little MP and the Automatic 9mm is awesome! Grenade launcher seemed a little laggy, maybe because the Free Mode was packed. Voice acting is simply brilliant - again.
Dingdongs
I'll give it an 8.5 The whole " Johnny's bike " thing is getting really f*cking tireing, I'm sick of failing a mission because I destroyed Johnny's bike by accident.

Ergh....your joking? I read in the review that once the bike is destroyed...thats it - its gone. Although come to think of it - they are a biker gang, can't exactly have all your members on bikes and you in a car

ArcaneKnight
So would you say the LAD is overrated then? Or does it live up to the hype for you?
El Zilcho
Just amazing. The looks, the feel, the new music, the bikes and cars and the kick ass action packed missions all hit the target. They are really fun and I love the variety of choppers and the general feel of cruising around on the bikes. It's a great add and feels like a totally new GTA, a singular game that intertwines with the main story too. Well worth the money. Although come to think of it - they are a biker gang, can't exactly have all your members on bikes and you in a car Definitely overrated IMO. It's not like I drive a car, in basically any mission if your bike gets destroyed- you fail and have to start over. For example for one mission you meet up with your gang at an ambush point and ambush someone- my bike was accidentally destroyed and I had to do the whole thing over. I just think they don't need to fail your mission because your bike is destroyed.
ArcaneKnight
Well they had to give you bang for your buck. Because in another day or 2 you guys will be done with the game. A lot im sure will finish the storyline today. I beat IV once, and didnt do another replay through it. Is there a high replay value in LAD? Im going to get it later on tonight, its just going to suck after beating the game knowing theres not much else to do, and then another 8-12 months for Episode 2. Im going to take my time and enjoy this one for as long as possible. Theres really no point to rush through it, unless youre one of those people who has to complete the game ASAP. AZAZEL
I just think they don't need to fail your mission because your bike is destroyed. Johnny loves his bike. You might not care that it's blown to pieces, but he does.
AnotherDave
@ArcaneKnight I haven't completed it yet so it's not really fair to say but so far - 7 or so missions in - it just seems a bit like more of the same and it's not really drawn me in. Overrated? I don't know as I haven't read any reviews. My honest opinion so far is 7.5/10. As for living up to the hype, no GTA (or any other big game) will ever be able to do that as they're all over-hyped.
Dingdongs
The next episode will be out before October 31st. It hasn't really drawn me in either, it's not like I'm not enjoying it but it's not making me jump up and down. I'll post my final review verdict when I finish the whole story. Issues I have so far: Not being able to actually enter a lot of new interiors like they hyped it up to be that we can enter so many new interiors, but we can't enter that many places, such as Jousters. Failing a mission because of falling off a bike

nitara
Well count me in the very impressed and lived up to the hype camp.. This game is perfection. I do want more interriors but the gameplay is awesome. The bikes are incredible.. THIS IS WHAT GTA 4 should have been. I loved Niko but Johnny is more my style!!! The soundtrack on Liberty Rock Radio is f*cking awesome!!! Blasting people with a sawn off shotgun listening to Iron Maiden Run to the Hills had me creeaming my pants!!! Dingdongs
Just heard about the death of Tom Goldberg on the radio in TLAD. I'm really glad that what happens in Nico's story appears on Johnnys aswell.
Guru Josh
Thought I would throw this question in: I have a PS3 but am thinking of getting a 360 for TLAD. My question is do you think it is worth buying a console for this. I am not flush with money but I can get one on a "buy now pay in 6 month" arrangement and I suppose I could sell it if I dont like it. I bought a PS2 for San Andreas and a PS3 for GTAIV(stupid planning there ) and love both. Just interested in your views..
