Jimbatron
OK I've read the post about embittered non - xboxers staying away here, and I can't deny I fit into this category. However, looking at it objectively, I think ruling the PC out due the exclusivity agreement is no good for anyone - consumers, R* or Microsoft. If I owned a PS3, I would obviously be angry, but I could at least understand the reason why Microsoft would pay for console exclusivity. If someone is going to buy a new console, this sort of thing might sway them to buy an Xbox over a Playstation. However, a PC and a console are not subsitutes as the former provides a plethora of other functions. There can only be a handful of PC owners world wide who would buy a console just to get this expansion (feel free to correct me here). Microsoft shouldn't care therefore about PC game sales, especially given it is under Games for Windows Live etc, because the XBox is in competition with the PS3, not the PC. Effectively R* have been done out of a lot of extra sales that wouldn't have upset anyone. Am I missing something here? The only thing I can think of is that R* don't deem it profitable enough to convert to the PC.
Dingdongs
Look at the sales of the PC game. It would just be a waste of their time frankly- the amount of money the PC earned was dismal.
Brawly
I'm a PC gamer and i'm happy for the xb360 owners that they're getting new content. We are just lucky that R* made it for PC at all.
