Ford Fiesta? Vauxhall Corsa? Fiat Punto? Renault Clio? Bearing in mind it doesn't have to be one of the above. Just tell us what car you think is the best hatchback car that was introduced before 2000. Send us a picture as well. The corrado is a hatch. coupe's by standards should technically have a boot not a hatch, although the coupe/hatch boundaries have blurred somewhat. Focus, Civic, s2 escort rst, fiesta xr2i, mk1/2 golf gti, delta integrale, there are so many nice hatchbacks out there, even if you pick the best from every year since say 1990, you'd have 10 different ones I bet. I hate those... they look like they've been through a trash compactor... every time I see one I 'wat' for a second. @BCspeed34, doesn't it suck how just $500 could make a big difference on the car you get?? (Volcane in particular looks fab) Volvo 340 (I can hear sni**ers from those of a Dup/etc disposition, but seriously, these are good cars, shame it's so hard to find one that's not knackered or been raped by a drifter).
