Here are some saves I made with Demarest's code tools--- shatterstorm (hidden package collector), Timevault (mission passer).... these are all side stuff--- I concentrated on the time consuming stuff.. so you can start a game without having to do all that stuff... I verified each thing I did added to the game %. No regular missions done... you still have a pink marker at the hotel.

Note for all the above-- packages collected with Demarest's Shatterstorm, Unique jumps completed with Demearest's Wanderlust, Everything else done with Demarests Timevault.... anything that records a time does not have a time in the stats-- but as far as I could tell, everything did contribute to the % so it should not inhibit you from getting 100%-- Save 17 is at 42%.

Everytime I started up a new game and performed the leap from roof to roof in order to get onto the Film Studio, recently, it was never registered as a Unique Jump, nor did it go into slow-motion mode. It was definitely registered on your save, though?

 

Great work yet again! This Database is shaping up far better than I had anticipated. I haven't the time to update everything at this moment, but I'll get on it as soon as I can.

I jumped in there so many times (as I messed up the packer jump several times before figuring exactly where to park it) that I wasn't sure if it registered on my jump in there for the save, but it did

Right, the first post has been sorted now, and I've managed to update everything up to this point, aside from Unlimited's new saved games.

 

Unlimited, just to confirm, you produced the saves after your last saved game which had completed all of Sunshine Auto's races, correct?

I just took the last save after the races I completed and did exporting from there. Now that I think about it I'll need to redo Cap The Collecter and Keep Your Friends Close once again.

Nope-- unless someone wanted something specific and not something else done... example-- only packages and fire fighter done and not taxi.

 

I left the rampages undone... that would take a bit of traveling around as timevault will pass them, but there is no code tool to complete them without going to each one.

Here is another save file- pretty much a copy of the last one I did, however it has everything done that can be done without starting a mission, but without the use of a code tool-- in addition to what I did they robbed all the stores... they are missing one of the jumps due to the building not being open until G-spotlight gets unlocked-- this was pinned in the cheats/tricks section.... probably a good fit here..

Cheers Spuds, that looks to be a very useful save file. Definitely worth adding. I've also PMed Samutz, to see if he can get the expiry date on it to extend from April '09 to '38.

Re-hosted and Added Ancestral Recall to the table, it is apparently incomplete without the american.gxt file that demarest created.... still working on obtaining it.

Played around a bit with this-- it does seem to show every mission-- anything that gives you a "pop up" when you start it...

 

Rifle range is definitely shown (good since this is the most common thing missed).

 

It will likely not show properties purchased, hidden packages left, jumps left, stores robbed, etc-- these are all in the stats anyway so should not be too much trouble to find anyway.

 

When I get time I will start a new game, and fire it up and see what it doesn't show me-- I'll just mark off everything in CLC's 100% checklist as it scrolls and see what is left after it finishes scrolling.... (hopefully I'll get the modifed gxt file before I do this)

Sorry about the double post but this is not related to ancestral recall at all...

 

I just grabbed a screenie for the RC goblin in Demolition man and when doing so found that the save files listed are off by one... what I mean is I think Unlimited listed those as the next mission available, while you listed them as the last mission done...

 

I didn't want to edit it yet til we clear it up, if this is the case, I can fix this real quick by copying the table to MS word and using the "find & replace" feature in word.... just enter find "last mission passed" and replace with "next mission available"... then just copy this back to the post.

 

I would like confirmation from unlimited that this is the case before messing with this....

When I get time I will start a new game, and fire it up and see what it doesn't show me-- I'll just mark off everything in CLC's 100% checklist as it scrolls and see what is left after it finishes scrolling.... (hopefully I'll get the modifed gxt file before I do this)

 

Ok.. I just did this-- let it scroll through the list twice and marked off everything it spit out...

 

It did NOT show:

• Any purchased properties
• Rampages
• Unique Jumps
• Hidden Packages
• Stores to rob
• Any Sunshine autos races
• Any of the sunshine autos stolen car lists

It indicated the $300 spent at the pole position club as "pole position club"<-- this is not indicating that it is purchased, only that the money has not been spent to complete the asset.

 

I'm still hoping to get the modified GXT file but until then, this will have to suffice-- all the above except the sunshine autos stolen cars list can be checked in the stats so the code tool still should help with the addition of the following checklist...

I just grabbed a screenie for the RC goblin in Demolition man and when doing so found that the save files listed are off by one... what I mean is I think Unlimited listed those as the next mission available, while you listed them as the last mission done...

 

It sure looks like that is the case-

 

Please note that the mission name on the left indicates the next mission. Not the last mission.

It's a good job there's another set of eyes keeping track of things in here. Still, we'll wait 'til Unlimited replies...

 

I've also provided a link to your third post (the one above this one) in the Further information section of the Code Tools table, to give members wishing to use it a clearer indication of what exactly is wrong.

And good news, I should have a working gxt file for ancestral recall real soon... GTArv has created a new one for ancestral recall (thanks again ) -- I want to test it out but should have it up in the next few hours.

Uploaded American.gxt file and added link to table as well as clarified the instructions a bit on how to use it.

 

I did do some limited testing on it-- I one by one purchased each safe house and then checked with ancestral to see if if it were still on the list or not... each was removed after purchasing... this was tedious in that you can't purchase a safe house with ancestral loaded (it tells you you are on a mission) so I had to keep pauseing, swapping files, loading, checking, pausing, swapping files, loading, buy next safe house, saving, pausing etc...... since it was working perfectly, and i was getting tired I stopped testing it... looks to be fine... I have not verified it on the other stuff but will try to over the next few days... like I said, this was boring and tedious.... if anyone else would like to check stuff feel free... the DL database has an abundance of saves to choose from for doing stuff.

 

I will note that I have a save I checked that is only 48% complete (not sure where I got it from)-- that it won't do anything on... ancestral doesn't even seem to be running when I load it up-- all other saves, it starts displaying what is left immediately.. I don't know the problem with the one save is...

 

Thanks again GTArv for making that up... I have no idea how difficult it was to do, but whether it took several hours or a few minutes, your effort is very much appreciated....

Glad to know that its working. Credit goes to Demarest for coding such a useful tool and to Spuds for his extensive testing, without which updating the GXT would have been difficult.

 

I tested the safe houses, they all seem fine. I'm quite certain that odd jobs, such as Rampages, Unique Stunt Jumps and Hidden Packages are in order as well.
