So anyway, I went back on the server, and it looks like a band of creepers had a frat party on the map. It seems I missed the wonder of Grief Thursday, huh? I got on around sunset, and having no resources, spent the night dying over and over again as zombies ate my flesh and skellys shot me to smithereens. And lots of holes in the ground and buildings.

 

Looks nothing like your screenies.

How the f*ck did you miss the bridge and minecart station? Did you spawn on an area full of obsidian and glowstone?

The server is back up, it suffered a bit of a hiccup. I think the major lighting storm was an indication that a problem was occurring.

I remember some complaints about chests getting broken into. Just saw

and thought it'd be a great solution. Just enclose the whole thing in adminium, and it should be pretty tamper-proof. Somebody could break the system itself, of course, and prevent anyone from getting to their items, but they wouldn't be able to get to items themselves.

Heh...

I was fiddling around with stuff, and forgot the port is 25566 - I had my proxy widget set to 25565.

 

Turns out, there's a different map?!? there's the remnants of some buildings and massive ground damage everywhere. Looks like Dresden after the bombs.

 

Are you guys running different maps on other ports?

BTW, sorry about the train station door, i got jumped by a pack of creepers and didn't have the materials to fix teh wall... if nobody got it yet, I'll see to patching that.

 

There was a sign by the door, but I have no idea what it said. I just found the drop in the rubble.

No the hoster we use, hosts multiple servers on one IP, hence why there is different IP addresses. I don't know what the 25565 one is, but it isn't ours.

Speaking of holes, has anyone seen that hole in the North? If you look at the picture of the Skeleton Jockey that GODK just posted, it's on the right at the top of the sand mountain. It's a HUGE pit.

Might have to take a ride out there at some point. Oh yeah just a general annoucement.

 

Unless you've built some in that space, you don't own it. If thats a cave below your property and someone comes along and builds there, you have no right to ask them to leave or destroy their property, doing so will be considered griefing. Some of you feel you can spread out and if there is something that is in your 'boundaries' that it is automatically in the wrong place.

Chances are, you are the only person that can see it. It has something to do with lag and it is really annoying.

Server down there is a known glitch with the bukkit version 333 where lightning hits a painting and crashes a server! GK is doing a backup then it will be back up after the Backup!
