Yeah it was a corrupted save I had.

 

On the shared save thing, we need another solution, it will take forever for us to take it again. Anyone can host a home server?

as you can see more trees planted, and sorry didnt do much scavenging was just working on my house!

 

my plan is to host the server again tommorow while im out! try and keep it to the list of people who are allready building, Pat joined but had to shoot so hes yet to start!

 

Tubs you should have the ability to :

 

/save-all

 

to the list people i will be on at 9.00am GMT and will op you if you contact me via PM at that time if not get the IP of tubs or PAT and i will move the spawn point slightly to ensure that you can build within the areas you have allready started! that is if you miss me in the morning to get OP'ed.

 

make sure you save regulary.

 

If any damage occurs via creepers please fix as best you can. i will make a backup of the map as is so far just incase it all goes horribly wrong tommorow.

right i will be on now PM with your minecraft name asking for ip within next 30 mins and server will be up Internet pending for the next ten hours! Im out for rest of day after that so will have to gget IP from either Tubbs or Pat if any of you want to get on and complete work to your houses. Im hoping you can op people even if your not on! at that time.

Errr...not to be mean, but we are limiting it to the list (note I use we, to deflect responsibilty/hate)

 

It's a space thing, this was meant to be passed around only a few people cause if it got too large it would be 20 days before we got it back. This server was never really planned and most likely not permanent and if we allowed you in and then had to switch back over to the round robin thing then we would have unused homes/abandoned people.

 

If you guys want I can help find another map and we can start another list, so that nobody feels left out.

You need to build a roof Uni, I am currently hiding in your house cause I died playing with Gangsta near the original spawn point. Spiders are coming down! AHHHH!

Speaking of Creepers earlier when it was me and Oyster on the server I stumbled upon a creeper (thankfully not close enough to go boom). I f*cking quickly turned around and ran for my life. He got stuck on the corner of Uni's house and i made my escape to my Home. (which in the pictures is accross from where Oyster took the pics. The one with the guy on the roof/wall).

 

Its gonna be a fairly nice sized place... planing on making it a two story house with a deck. The Bedroom will be on top with the deck and down below will be for who the f*ck knows

I think for right now, the list is on hiatus, as long as oyster is able to keep it up on a server. Once he stops putting it up we can switch off to tubbs.

 

I gotta go to sleep...stayed up way too long. I will send the IP to you 860 and I think everybody will know by then.

 

also, about the other list. If you guys can find another four people to make a list with then go ahead. We will just have two share a maps going on at the same time.

Finally found my first Cocoa Beans, surprisingly in a weirdly placed dungeon.

 

 

Anyone seen anything like this before? It's like the surface pool was generated and took a chunk out of the dungeon.

Well, I'd much rather play on an MP server, than pass a map continuously to others. Much easier, too. But I guess you guys have tried to set something up before to no avail?

Not sure yet! I need to look into what I can get for it. I think you can get a white list for it, so I might try that.

Yeah, might be worth to try something like bukkit, whitelist and even just giving the IP out to regulars rather than having it as a public IP.

Yeah definitely, Bukkit's supposed to be awesome. I've just read that Mojang added a white list command for servers a couple of updates ago.
