kn00tcn Posted February 13, 2009 Share Posted February 13, 2009 Grand Theft Auto Fading/Popping In Objects i was testing if low textures/viewdistance would stop the crashing (it actually increased it to 15-20min) when i noticed that objects & textures are fading/popping in every time you look around the crashes almost seem like they're caused by a limited number of loads for objects i havent been playing the game lately, just driving around as many neighborhoods as possible to force the crash unsure if it's a driver issue or patch issue or game issue any others care to test? preferably those that can handle high & possibly nvidia users Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
diom Posted February 13, 2009 Share Posted February 13, 2009 i have very similar configuration and the same problem when i try to play with medium textures..objects are poppin up..with high textures is all fine..so i dont change it about crashes..im pretty sure, that in your case is the problem on the driver side..how i saw in another tread..try to use atiumdag.dll from previous version of catalysts..game will stay on better graphics from 9.1 and stability from 8.12 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
