[REL|FINAL] Realistic Driving

Recommended Posts

looks good. but i dont need "speeds up gameplay by 15%". can you make a version which just affects the cars?

why havent you posted the downloadlink here? wink.gif

with gameplay i meant everything related to driving, only cars are sped up. sorry for that imprecise description.

concerning bikes:

i dont think the original bikes are realistic. they tend to drift and slip in every turn. every real driver would try to prevent that. also when braking, the front wheel of the bike blocks. in real life you fall off the bike when the front wheel blocks.

i made the bikes brake more realistic and drift only under heavy duty. You can still drift with the sanchez and have a lot fun on the beach.

right now i am working on a version with a reasonable increase of car deformation.

if you have suggestions post them now, for it will be too late in a few hours wink.gif

update: so far i made all cars more resistant to gunfire. now you can empty a clip into a car without having it blow up.

update2: version 1.01 is already finished. this version includes 50% extra deformation of cars. now its time for some quality testing.

If it's not too late, I'd suggest some handling lines for the extra motorbikes.

are you talking about the hidden bikes? i dont know anything about them except how they look like. tell me how to drive them and i'll write the handling lines.

version 1.01 is finished by the way. took me 2 hours of modding and 4 hours of quality control... mad.gif

sorry for the delay. i am not satisfied with the bikes and i want this release to be perfect. the last 10 hours i have been working on a new bike handling. i havent slept for 2 days. in a few hours, hopefully, version 1.01 is finished and i can take a nap wink.gif

heres a new video clip for the ppl who cant wait:

drive savely.

i have installed the lost and damned bikes...can you make a version with these bikes modded, too?

i dont knwo how custombikes are on the road..but imagine they are slower than the handlings which where given with the mod. can you take a look at them, too?

EDIT:

P.S.: I like your mod, keep it up tounge.gif

i took a 4 hour nap and it looks like i am already working on version 1.02

fixed so far:

-SultanRS: new brakes (the former ones didnt feel right)

-SuperGT: centre of mass lowered by a few inch

biggrin.gif

planned:

-to make top speeds match the real cars

-make accelerations match the real cars

-make the amount of gears match the real cars

this involves reading for hours and hours about those cars. i obviously wont be able cover all 110 verhicles.

update:

i made all sports cars and bikes match the real ones concerning acceleration, top speed and weight. they really kick ass now smile.gif

this also means that the typical GTA balance is lost. im sorry, but comet is not the best car anymore.

i also improved handling of muscle cars.
