Reading that thread and especially ferrari91169 post made it clear to me what needed to happen. We do indeed need to press spacebar insanely fast. I made a macro pressing space about 120 times, and it got Nico up in the chopper. Some folks useD fraps to lower the game's fps so that they can press spacebar fast enough.
