Please post more than just the title.

We don't need a War and Peace essay on the film, but at least give a couple of sentences of good and bad points and even throw in a rating if you want to, as long as you give some rationale.

Goon

Goon is the story of Doug Glatt, an endearing, lovable goof, who while attending an ice hockey game, has his god given talent of f*cking people up discovered.

Thus he becomes an "enforcer," a player who focuses less on the  puck, and more on the punches. I've rarely heard anybody talking about this movie, which is surprising as it's a funny, enjoyable sports comedy.

As Doug continues with his free concussion clinic, a showdown begins to loom against the vicious veteran enforcer, Ross Rhea, played by Liev Schreiber, who hams it up nicely with his Canadian drawl and burly presence.

It's quotable, funny and bloody, with well choreographed fight scenes which will leave you wincing, it's hard to put into words but I think this movie came out a little late, or maybe wasn't marketed enough, because I think it's reminiscent of the so called "dumb" comedies that were very popular in the noughties, your Superbad's and Old School's. And Goon has the goods and guts to stand and brawl with those heavy hitters.

Fade to Black (1980)

Print: Vinegar Syndrome Bluray

Director: Vernon Zimmerman

The screenplay of this movie was fantastic.

Eric Binford delivers films for living. He's a huge movie freak and knows pretty much everything about the Hollywood classic era movies.

Then he meets this beautiful Marilyn Monroe lookalike in a diner, they agree to date same evening in a movie theater.

The hot blonde forgets the date, Eric returns disappointed home. He's living with his grumpy aunt, who is really his mom and disabled on a wheelchair.

They have another fight about Eric being stuck in his room, watching movie after movie after movie.

Auntie breaks Eric's reel movie camera with her cane. Eric snaps and pushes her down the stairs to death.

After that his life turns completely into a movie. He takes revenge on his enemies imitating famous silver screen stars and creatures.

The end is easy to foresee, because his favorite is Cody Jarrett in White Heat.

Good mix of comedy, horror and drama. Way over my expectations for usual Vinegar Syndrome release.

Dennis Christopher did great as the movie buff. There's naturally lot of cinema related references and stuff all over.

April Fool's Day (1986)

Print: Region-Free Spanish Bluray

Director: Fred Walton

Quite generic teen comedy horror movie for the latter 1980s era. No nudity, flyweight on gore but it has a nice twist and joking.

A group of graduating students take ferry to an island, with an intention to spend a weekend in isolated mansion.

While docking, one of the guys gets accidentally crushed between the ferry and the pier.

He is rushed back to mainland in a motor boat. The others are shocked, but they want to stay.

Their hostess Muffy likes practical joking, the house is rigged with funny tricks and pranks.

Everyone know it's Friday 1st of April, but the joking takes a wicked turn when one of the student dies. And then another one, and another one.

Who is killing them? Is it Muffy the trickster whose demeanor seems to have changed dramatically, or some random killer from outside?

Deep Water (2022) - Amazon Prime

Ben Affleck and the beautiful Ana de Armas star as a husband and wife. He is like some beta cuckold who lets other men have sex with her so she won't leave him, and he may or may not be killing her lovers. This film is as dull as ditchwater. Like watching paint dry. I have probably seen worse, I just can't remember when.

1 out of 10 (for Ana de Armas, topless)

BOILING_POINT_1SHT_2_MR.jpg?fit=2074,315

Boiling Point, 2021, Phillip Barantini.

Stephen Graham has to be one the best actors to grace the screen over the pace 20 years. From his role in This Is England to playing Al Capone in Boardwalk Empire he never fails to impress me. I'm always believing the characters he's playing. Boiling Point is insane as it's shot in one take! It follows head Chef Andy Jones and staff over one busy night in the restaurant. It's incredible how it portrays the dynamics of working in a kitchen but anyone that's worked with any team will recognize the dynamics and dysfunction. The cause and effect that staff have on each other and how little things being changed in the plan can have an larger knock-on effect, down the line. To complicate things, the head chef has increasingly become unreliable for reasons the viewer is not revealed early on but only hinted at. It does a great job of humanizing all the characters in a short time.

This film is almost documentary style and is just remarkable how it was shot in one take. It's currently got a 99% critics rating on RT. I watched it on Netflix. Might be on Netflix in your region.

sh*t, Mo. I was reading Mister Pink's post and literally thinking the same thing, lol.

Stephen Graham is brilliant there, but Sean Bean is very much too, much different to his usual presence on screen in Time. A really good drama miniseries worthy of any fan of either actors time.

We watched a film called Safe Room (2022) last night, which goes by the title Safe Space in some territories.

It is a pretty run-of-the-mill home invasion thriller which happens to a recently widowed mother and her 14 year old autistic son. Having just moved into their new house, the boy spies a murder across the street from his bedroom, and the villains are desperate to get the camera that he recorded them on. The mother and son retreat to the safe room, and the usual shenanigans follow.

There's nothing new here at all. The plot is predictable and fairly ridiculous, and everybody in it looks a bit embarrassed. It has the cheap feel of a made-for-TV film and in fact, there are several hard 'cuts-to-black' which are the type you sometimes see when a TV movie is spliced back together without the commercial breaks.

The boy who plays the son though is convincing, and I think he may be an actor with autism for real.

Forgettable. Pass on this, not worth the time.

Vampire Hookers (1978)

Print: Vinegar Syndrome Drive-In Collection DVD

Director: Cirio H. Santiago

Two American navy sailors are looking for steamy nightlife action in Cavite City, Philippines.

After bumbling around and some fist fighting in a bar, they are lured by a beautiful lady to cemetery.

The other sailor is too scared to enter because of childhood trauma, but the other follows the lady inside.

In the cemetery building there is a grave with secret entrance leading to dungeons below he building.

Richmond Reed (John Carradine) is a poetic vampire pimp, living there with 3 vampire hookers.

The wimp sailor returns back to barracks, to gather courage and equipment to face the vampires and save his buddy.

This could be absolute abomination to watch, let alone to finish if you're not into cheap B-movies and trash cinema.

I enjoyed it, the dialogue is dumbly hilarious and old John Carradine is likable as the Shakespearean bloodsucker.

Actually, they hang the victims upside down, extract the blood with a small lab kit and use it as a mixer for alcohol drinks.

The vampire group also have a local henchman with a chronic farting problem. He eagerly wants to be a vampire but is not ready.

The other title in the DVD, Death Force is from same director.

Hellraiser (1987)

Print: Arrow Video Hellraiser Bluray Box (Hellraiser, Hellraiser 2: Hellbound & Hellraiser 3: Hell on Earth)

Director: Clive Barker

Man this film sure brings memories. Anyone considering themselves a horror fan, absolutely must know this film.

Even though it's well past 30 years, I remembered things pretty accurately.

The movie opens with Frank and a small wooden box. The mystic box Frank has bought, can open gates to ultimate pleasure and pain.

Frank's brother Larry and his wife Julia relocate to their childhood house, where brother Frank has been living.

They suspect his disappearance has something to do with his shady life style. While they're moving the furniture in, Larry gets a nasty cut on the back of his hand.

He goes to the upper floor room, where Julia is going through Frank's stuff and recollecting memories how she has earlier cheated Larry with Frank.

Larry trickles some blood on the floor. Frank, who is hiding and hibernating in skeletal form under the flooring, awakens by the little feed he's being given.

Julia finds out about Frank. Old flame ignites. Frank persuades Julia to bring him human victims, because he needs more blood and flesh over bones.

Things go smoothly until Larry's dazzling daughter Kirsty realizes Larry's not Larry but Frank, wearing only Larry's leather face!

Kirsty nicks the wooden box, opens the gates of hell and is forced to make a deal with the cenobytes she's brought over.

She leads them to escapee Frank to save herself.

Hellraiser has great cast: Andrew Robinson, Sean Chapman and Ashley Laurence was very cute.

The FX, especially the gory transformation and the monster creatures are amazing.

This movie got me hooked and stuck as if nailed 😉 Butterball is my favorite of the cenobytes 😎

Never heard of this film until you mentioned it, and I love home invasion films, so I might give this a watch despite average reviews. I still think the Spanish film Kidnapped (2010) is one of the best home invasion films ever made. If you haven't seen it, I highly recommend it.

The original Suspiria from 1977, in the Italian dub.

Suspiria-Harper-2017.jpg

There's some debate over which version is the more original, definitive dub of the film, but man, it was weird watching it in Italian that's for sure.

Me and a bunch of friends watched it on a projector. I've seen clips of the film on Youtube including the infamous stabbing scene, but never the whole film, so it was cool.

Overall, the film, while striking and atmospheric with its choice of color and soundtrack, comes across as pretty cheesy and melodramatic at times. The recurring sound cues were more funny than scary, and the very 70s technicolor blood was more off-putting than anything. Still, brilliant score by Goblin, regardless, they really nailed the whole dollhouse-esque occult vibe along with the set design and clothing.

The whole experience felt like a mix of Wes Anderson and David Lynch compacted to a short runtime of about 85 minutes. If anything, I was pretty disappointed with the lack of character development in the film, actually. All the characters felt more like bland archetypes that serve to compliment the aesthetics of the film rather than bring it forward, it's not really something I'm used to, honestly. The slow pacing of the film came as a surprise to me, so it was sort of a letdown that the whole film wasn't like that hanging and stabbing scene.

The acting in general is awful, save for that blind pianist, I thought his breakdown towards the end of the film was pretty funny, though that probably comes with the territory with it being a giallo film from the 70s. The lead actress is cute, though.

I heard the remake runs laps around the original, and based on some of the scenes I've seen, it seems to be the case. Still, if I had to give my verdict, this film feels way too corny for slow burn fans to enjoy, and way too slow-paced for casual horror viewers. I'd recommend watching it if you want to study cinematography, lighting, composition and color, because this is where the film shines in.

Perfect World (1993)

Perfect World is a 1993 U.S. feature film directed by Clint Eastwood, a blend of drama, thriller

and road movie set in the 1960s and focusing on the friendship between a kidnapper and his

hostage, a young boy.

UYkl55Fl.jpg

I think it's an excellent film. Kevin Costner mimes a fugitive criminal and takes little Philipp hostage.

Although Costner shows here several times that he is truly no Good Guy, one feels high sympathy

with him, because he quickly accepts the father figure of the boy who grew up without a father and

the little boy also gets confidence in him. Despite 138 minutes, the film does not seem long-winded

at any time, it takes the viewer along in a road movie until a fabulous but sad ending.

Message From The King

Chadwick Boseman stars as Jacob King, a mysterious stranger from South Africa drawn into LA's seedy underbelly in search of his missing sister, while it starts strong with Boseman commanding a quiet yet powerful presence, as he finds his feet unfortunately the plot can't match him.

Characters appear yet don't have impact, and any of their reveals don't really hit because they were paper thin to begin with. It has that neo-noir feel to it, and while it doesn't fall into the trap of that genre of too much chewing the scenery, what it pulls to keep your attention doesn't really hit. It all follows logically but I just wasn't that interested. Whether that be because of a lack of focus, or characterization i'm not sure, but either way it's watchable but not memorable.

Street Trash (1987)

Print: 88 Films, 88 Vault 005

Director: J. Michael Muro

A liquor store keeper finds alcohol beverage called "Viper" from the store cellar. You would think he knew what he was selling but no.

Unaware of its high toxicity, he starts to sell it to local hobos $1 per bottle. When they take a gulp, they begin to melt disgustingly on the spot.

The drunk hobos reside in a junkyard nearby, under a pile of tires. And under command of the master hobo who is a Vietnam vet.

Guy is tough as f*ck but haunted by jungle nightmares. Isn't that a rule of thumb?

Talking about thumbs...top scene of the movie by laugh-o-meter is when one of the hobos loses his wiener and the other ones play catch with it.

In the end the liquor store owner pays for his mistake, and the good hobos beat the evil master hobo in style.

In my memory it was much grimmer than it really is. There's lot of senseless and goofy action, the melting and explosion (some of them explode) scenes are well done, yet over the top.

Perfect popcorn movie for the evening you wish to leave your brain in drawer and just enjoy. If you like Toxic Avenger,  Brain Damage & Class of Nuke Em High you will. 7/10

Swamp Thing (1982)

Print: 88Films Bluray

Director: Wes Craven

Swamp Thing is based on DC Comics, and is notably different than Wes Craven's earlier gruesome work.

This is a cheesy superhero movie with a pinch of soft drama between the badass beatings and monsta hugs.

The creature is essentially cuddly and intelligent. That's because the substance Dr. Alec Holland is developing in the swamp camp laboratory,

amplifies the essence of the person who ingests or gets in contact with it.

Dr. Alec Holland accidentally takes an overdose of the green glowing (why in the heck does it always have to be green?) substance,

when a villain boss and his soldier minions raid into the laboratory, wanting to steal the formula and take over the world.

They don't get all the data, Alice Cable (Adrienne Barbeau) flees with the crucial data big bust beautifully bouncing from the flaming remains.

Eventually she and the swamp thing get captured, and the villain manages to manufacture the substance.

Things just do not go as planned, the villain didn't listen when he was told the substance amplifies your true essence.

Evil gets a taste of its own medicine once again, and the beauty is left alone with a piece of healing moss.

Okay movie, I enjoyed it for the action and the camp, but I wished more comics look.

Where is the splatter film with smash! crash! and kapow! balloons?

Flipped the cover because the alternate looks better in my opinion.

The entire library of James Bond films has dropped on Amazon Prime, so I thought I would would watch two from Roger Moore, who could be considered "my" James Bond, due to the period of his tenure, 1973 to 1985, coinciding with my childhood.

Moonraker (1979)

So this one capitalises on the sci-fi, Star Wars craze of the late 70's by firing Bond off into space. This is only really in the final act, and the first three quarters of the film play out much like any other. Bond has to try and find out what happened to a hijacked space shuttle owned by wealthy billionaire Hugo Drax (Michael Lonsdale) a man who dreams of wiping out civilisation on Earth and starting again from his space station. If this seems familiar, that is because it is the same megalomaniac plot that Stromberg wanted to do two years earlier in The Spy Who Loved Me, only he wanted to live beneath the sea.

Helping Bond on his mission is astronaut Doctor Goodhead (😆) played by the beautiful Lois Chiles. I suppose she is a pretty good "Bond girl" in that she is very lovely, but also educated, capable and good for some withering put downs when Moore's eyebrow-raising Bond tries it on with her with the usual sexist remarks.

The big man, Jaws (Richard Kiel) also returns from The Spy Who Loved Me, but this time he is less 'lethal killer' and more 'full-on buffoonish clown'. I loved his more slapstick appearance as a kid, but it makes me wince a bit watching it now. He even gets a girlfriend in this one and finally ends up doing a heel / face turn.

Some pretty decent stunts and set-pieces, but the last act on the space station is ridiculous.

A special mention has to go to the character of Corinne Dufour, an assistant of Hugo Drax who has a tryst with Bond (naturally) Played by Corinne Clery, probably one of the most beautiful women ever to grace a Bond film.

11248cc.jpg

A View to a Kill (1985)

One thing that my 11 year old self didn't appreciate when this film came out was just how old Moore looked in it. A 44 year old Moore was old, as was a 57 year old Moore. As a kid, you don't really discern the difference. Watching as an adult, you can really see that the creakiness of the two previous installments (For Your Eyes Only and Octopussy) had finally caught up with Moore and he looked too old to be playing the titular spy. This was especially evident in his love scenes with Fiona Fullerton, Grace Jones and Tanya Roberts.

Everybody making this one looked as if they had given up. From obvious stuntmen (the Paris car chase scene) in the scene, and dummies (when he crashes through the roof of the wedding boat) it was a bit of a farce.

kioIXxj.jpg

Christoper Walken is quite good in this one though.

Elvira Mistress of the Dark (1988)

Cinespectral Films 3-Disc Steelbox (Bluray, DVD & Extras)

Director: James Signerolli

Elvira quits her job as a horror hostess, intending to make a killing in Vegas. But she needs a nest egg to begin her own show.

Luckily she receives a telegram that her great-aunt has passed away, and she is in the list of inheritors.

So instead of going straight to Vegas, she drives to Fallwell Massachusetts for the inheritance in the hopes of collecting cash.

She inherits a shabby mansion, poodle and a recipe book that later turns out to be a magic spell book.

The town is run by overly moral council. The elders are against Elvira but the teenagers soon befriend with the luscious gothic lady.

Vincent, Elvira's great-uncle who had left the inheritance with empty hands, wants the recipe book.

He's an evil warlock and needs to get the book in his hands before the upcoming lunar eclipse.

Elvira ends up jailed, and almost burned at the stake as witch before taking one-on-one with Vincent in the final fight.

Elvira is one of the best movies of its kind I know. It's pure comedy filled with horror spoofs, joking and holds well to the finish. Elvira's rocking rack of course play a major part in the joking.

Never seen Elvira's Movie Macabre, but if I have a chance to pick up the marathon DVD pack will grab it.

Rita, Sue and Bob Too (1987)

This was on the Sky planner, so I gave it a watch again. I have seen it numerous times, but the last time was probably about ten years ago. Most people in the UK will be familiar with this now classic film, but for those who aren't, it is a British comedy drama about two Yorkshire schoolgirls who have an affair with a married man.

Rita (Siobhan Finneran) and Sue (Michelle Holmes) are two schoolgirls who live on a rough council estate in Bradford in the 1980s. They babysit for a couple Bob (George Costigan) and Michelle (Lesley Sharp) who live on a slightly more affluent housing estate. When Bob takes them home after babysitting one night, he instead drives them up onto the moors and in a memorable scene, has sex with both of them in turn on the front seat of the car.

What follows then are some comedic but also bleak moments as the film navigates this affair. Bob's wife leaves him and Sue eventually ends up seeing a violent Pakistani taxi driver when Rita falls pregnant with Bob's baby, which she ultimately loses.

It was marketed at the time as a bawdy comedy (the tagline was "Thatcher's Britain with her knickers down") and it is funny in parts. It is also depressingly bleak, and the racist, coarse language of the characters would now be considered very dated. The scene where Bob is hanging around at the side of the school playground trying to coax Rita and Sue to find a way to get out of tennis practice during lesson time so that they can slip away for sex is pretty dodgy.

I'll maybe watch it again in another ten years.

Story of Ricki AKA Riki-Oh (1991)

Print: 88Films Bluray

Director: Ngai Choi Lam

Language: Cantonese with English Subtitles

I literally dropped my jaw watching this. Was prepared for stylish martial arts action, but not one of the goriest movies I've seen!

If I had known about the manga comic it's based on, or the animated series I maybe had been able to predict limbs and guts flying all over.

Riki-Oh messed his studies, and is only 21 when he is sent to jail for manslaughter. Dude is just hard nut to crack, he's completed superhero level in Qigong.

The slimy deputy warden of the prison, one-eyed snake with a mechanic double-hook hand tries his best to finish Riki-Oh, without succeeding.

And I mean how could he? This guy hits so hard his fist sinks into the opponent, or penetrates the body completely. I wouldn't roll out a nickel for Hulk and Thor fighting together against him.

Riki-Oh is good, he's defending the bullied ones. I guess his main mission is to end the opium growing in the prison, because his girl friend got killed after witnessing opium dealing.

A weird event to say least, in the flashback she's taken to the dealer's apartment, but manages to flee. Hysterical, she takes the upstairs on the roof and then jumps down to death.

The warden returns from Hawaii with his spoiled chubby son, furious hearing about the scorched opium. Riki-Oh is determined and will not bend. The brawl intensifies into a Kung-Fu gore feast.

After finishing the warden who possesses alternative mutant embodiment, Riki-Oh takes a surgical strike on the prison wall with his dynamite fist.

Leaving the compound with a style, other inmates cheering.

Totally over-the-top movie, you can only laugh astonished watching it, at least if you're not disgusted by the gore that is mostly hilarious.

This movie has qualities to make into my favorite list of strange ones, it is very original and fun.

TENET - 6.5/10

VERY confusing, but I guess that's what everyone thought when they saw it first

Darth Absentis

Encanto was surprisingly good, but i prefer The mitchells vs the machines and do not get how it got an oscar.

The plot is strong, the themes of tribalism, family bonding and duties, with slight hints at the concepts of burn-out, victim blaming are sure well presented without coming off as over the top, but still, i felt it will be faster forgotten.

Killer Klowns from Outer Space (1988)

Print: FutureFilm DVD

Director: Stephen Chiodo

The youngsters of Crescent Cove think they've seen a comet, but when Mike & Debbie go to the crash site there's a circus tent.

Inside they find people cocooned in cotton candy and realize it's a space ship from outer space.

Mike & Debbie rush to police station. Officer Curtis Mooney (John Vernon) laughs his head off after hearing what they have to say.

Younger officer Dave Hansen decides to check out with Mike what's going on, but now there's only a big hole on the location.

Meanwhile the clowns are causing chaos in town with their tricks, cotton candy and popcorn guns.

Clowns capture Debbie. Dave, Mike and Terenzi Bros who sell ice cream from van follow the clowns to amusement park where their tent is.

Inside they do a funhouse run evil clown army on their asses to find and rescue Debbie.

Killer Klowns is a cult classic horror comedy. I had it on VHS back in the prehistoric days of tape and landline.

Title song by The Dickies is just awesome, and I also like the sound design of the movie.

The plot is straightforward and goofy but that's peanuts, the movie is carried to finale with good fun and the bizarre clowns.

If you happen to meet one don't clown around for too long, aim for the nose.

Blastfighter (1984)

Print: FutureFilm DVD

Director: Lamberto Bava

This is a straightforward beat em up & shoot em up action movie with a simple vengeance plot.

Tiger Sharp is ex-police. After serving 8 years in police he served 10 years in prison for taking revenge point-blank on a guy who killed his wife.

He receives a unique gun from a friend to finish the corrupt judge on the case from long range, but hesitates and drives to his lodge near small rural town.

The gun can shoot all sorts of special bullets, small grenades, smoke bombs etc. Sharp scopes around with it in the woods and spots local bunch of hillbillies.

They are hunting way too much wildlife for some Chinese, who prepares traditional boner enhancers of the deer bladders and hog balls.

As a former police, Sharp can't just turn a blind eye on this criminal activity. He destroys the hut laboratory and the boys get very, very pissed.

When Sharp's long-lost daughter Connie pays a visit, they attack on her and two men with her get killed.

They realize that leaving Connie alive would lead into a bad resolution (I bet in Georgia it would). Tiger comes to rescue, but he can't save his daughter.

Now he's got nothing to lose. He runs through the woods to the lodge and picks up his special gun to wipe out an army of wacky hillbillies.

Tarantino thinks this is Lamberto Bava's best. It is a blast of action but I wouldn't put it quite in the top of Bava Junior.

The main music loop, repeated regularly during the movie was catchy, and there are some country tunes. Soundtrack felt bit lacking to me.

I expected a George Eastman to have a bigger role, Michael Sopkiw was real good as Tiger Sharp.

Blood Feast (1963)

Print: Arrow Video Herschell Gordon Lewis Feast Collection

This is a crimson cauldron. 14 H.G. Lewis movies and on top of that I have the Vinegar Syndrome Lost Gems.

I'm going to watch The Feast Collection in the order they are placed on the discs, though it's not chronological order.

Great that I can't remember a thing about the four or five ones I have seen decades ago. Had 2000 Maniacs VHS, I think it was ordered from The Netherlands like many other movies.

Blood Feast is obviously interesting because it is the first of its kind, but there is more to it than the cheesy glorious gore.

Acting couldn't be further from Hollywood Academy, and I'm not saying this only because it was shot in Florida.

The plot limps just like the hoary older guy called Faud Ramses, who runs a catering service.

He's butchering young women for Egyptian blood feast, in the hopes of reviving ancient goddess Ishtar alive. One loses brain, other tongue, some their limbs.

The dialogue is naive and I've never seen dumber cops in a movie. Their discourse is beyond belief.

One of the victims survives the attack and is able to utter a clue on her death bed.

The Fremonts are hosting a party and Faud Ramses is bringing the "Food". He's about to perform last part of the sick blood ritual with his machete over the daughter,

when the police finally experiences 10 IQ-point eureka moment and makes a haste.

Blood Feast, in all its morbid weirdness emanates strange charm. I hope the other movies turn out to be equally entertaining.

Algonquin Assassin

Christine.

This is actually one of my favourite horror movies. I’ve always described it like Herbie becoming a serial killer lol.

Still holds up especially in 4K with HDR.😉

The Tough Ones (1976)

Print: 88Films Bluray x 2

Director: Umberto Lenzi

This is how I like my Lenzi poliziotteschi. We get a great serving of fast-paced over-the-top action.

The buffet of beat-em ups, ultra violent gun fights and a demolition derby of small Italian cars from the era is beautifully presented.

Just when you think your heart rate and breath are about to get steady the action steps up again.

It's a joy to watch and the leading cast is great. Maurizio Merli plays a tough inspector Tanzi whose methods are a step too far from the official regulation.

He's trying to nail Ferrender, a big French mob among the Roman underworld but the guy is way too slimy to catch.

He gets his hands on another gangster who is connected to Ferrender, a berserk hunchback butcher Savelli (Tomas Milian).

The cops are not aware that Savelli has finished Ferrender earlier. In the end Tanzi must knock off Savelli to finish the gang.

8/10

The other disc has a version called "Brutal Justice" for the American market with several replaced shots from New York.

I 'm afraid it's a mess, but will watch later.
