Please post more than just the title.

We don't need a War and Peace essay on the film, but at least give a couple of sentences of good and bad points and even throw in a rating if you want to, as long as you give some rationale.

Hulk 2003 last night and Exit Wounds today. Still perplexed as to how Steven Seagal shot that helicopter down with an Uzi.

1984 original of course. I watch this movie at least twice a week

Some random movie trivia for you guys that don't know this. I just learned this recently

Dude that played Dutch of the Cobra Kai is Chad McQueen, son of Steve McQueen

I recently saw Back to the Future Part II on the Sci-Fi channel and realized that the 30th anniversary of the franchise is coming up. I went ahead and re-watched the trilogy on Blu-ray, but for the first time I listened to commentary from the producers while watching the film and watched the making-of features . It really is quite amazing how much planning went into the production design for the sequels.

I heard the series' co-creator/producer Bob Gale discussing how in their version of the future, all monetary transactions are done with your thumb instead of using physical cash or a credit card. You can see this when Old Biff pays the cab driver after following Marty and Doc to Hill Dale. He then expanded that in the movie's universe by having a headline in the future newspaper talking about how one of the major crimes in the Hill Valley of the future was the cutting off of thumbs.

It can be seen as the top headline on the "Newsline" column to the left in this copy of the newspaper.

One of the predictions they got wrong about the future was of course an increase of influence of Japanese culture in America, as they were an economic powerhouse around the time of the film's production. Unfortunately, Japan had an economic crisis in the early 90's and China took their place as the country that the US imports a great deal of their technological goods from. It's still interesting to see the subtle influences that the producers thought Eastern culture would have on the US though. For instance, future Marty's boss is a Japanese businessman, the movie theater (the one the Delorean crashes into upon Marty's return to 1985 in the first film) has Japanese characters all over it, and there is a noticeable increase in the amount of Japanese pedestrians/extras in the background compared to the first film's 1985.

I'm just going to go ahead and say it: I think Part II is the best of the trilogy. I think it's laudable just how much effort the producers put into the production of the film, the idea of parallel universes is utterly fascinating to me, and seeing Part I from a different perspective was great.

Le Mans (1971).

You got less dialogues (and somehow cheesy acting). But holy sh*t you got awesome racing footages & realistic racing scenes!

This is what racing movies should be.

Furious 7.

The ending really does bring a smile to your face. If this were the final movie in the series, then it would be a perfect ending.

I wouldn't be too surprised if many on here hadn't heard of this movie it's a good movie IMO, it got a limited release in cinemas which is why do few have heard of it.

If anyone is expecting this is be a standard zombie movie featuring lots of zombies killing everyone and Arnie gunning them down while saying get to the chopper or i'll be back or any one-liner then you should look elsewhere this movie is more like The Last Of Us than Resident Evil and every other zombie film.

Coincidentally the movie does have a connection to The Last Of Us, the movie's director designed title cards for The Last Of Us

http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1881002/

I had to buy it online the only HMV near me didn't know anything about it and when they checked their computer the closest they could find was something called The Maggie.

Just finished the original Dumb and Dumber ten minutes ago. Was a little dumb, but that's what I pay Netflix for, huh?

The other day I watched the 1990 Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles movie and Tucker and Dale vs Evil. TMNT was really cheesy and campy, but it was kinda charming in a way. T&D vs E was a pretty good comedy. I like how it took a lot of familiar elements from horror films, but spun them around to produce funny moments.

Tremors 5: Bloodlines. I have to say it was actually decent.

I recently bought Avengers Age of Ultron. And watched it a couple times. I've watched the first Avengers movie countless times. There are things in that first movie that never gets old to me. Things that give me goosebumps. Thor on a knee, summoning his hammer and spinning to crack Hulk across the face and into a harrier jet. That never gets old to me.

There's only two real moment like that for me in AoU. That's when...

the Vision saves Scarlet Witch

...which is a comic fan's wet dream to even have both of those characters on screen at the same time, let alone have them interact in that way. And then to a lesser extent, I get excited when...

Captain America says, "Avengers...", and gets cut off by credits.

Even the stinger with a certain rib chinned Titan doesn't really do much for me this time around. I like the movie, it's just not as good as the first one.

Both are good IMO. Watched those with my family, really cool.

The Martian. It was alright, I just sort of stupidly expected it to be a darker thriller movie, because Ridley Scott was directing and he made Alien. Instead it was kinda one of those american hero stories which I don't have a problem with, but I just wanted this one to be something else. Also a lot of the jokes made me cringe.

Edit:

Watched Cockneys vs zombies, one of the dumbest horror comedies I've seen, but it had a few worthwhile moments.
