Your ISO cannot be modded in anyway before you attempt to try and change the img, afterwards, other modding is fine. And to replace more than 1 outfit, just carry out the steps, but replace all of the outfits you want to replace with the outfits you want to replace them with. 03stevensmi Posted September 3, 2009 Share Posted September 3, 2009 (edited) This is weard! i've been looking at different topics and posts about modding to change chatector! half of u said it was working fine and other half said it isn't doing nothing! wen i first found out about this, i modded it straight away and it worked PERFECT! I even modded a ps2 gta3img on upaz site and it still worked perfect! i've got ped costumes wat people said that they could'nt get 2 work! So wat i'me going 2 do is explain evry single thing i did 2 help! . first of all, i've got the EU version of VCS . I riped it using Xplora 1.6 (IT HAS TO BE ISO NOT CSO!!) . I got the newest version of YAIE . i've got vista home premieum (sorry about spelling) I got it 2 work by following instructions eg. coppy the files at system32. then i right clicked yaie.exe (the newer version) and clicked on "run as administrator", clicked ok and i was on! . this is the ped list i used on this site wen i modded the file! http://www.gtaforums.com/index.php?showtopic=285544 note: its NOT the updated list! but u can find it here: http://rapidshare.com/files/219685253/GTA_...acking_Docs.zip Just download it, extract it and look at the PedID txt folder! . i used "PSP Filer v 5.8 KERNEL3" 2 extract the gta3psp.img folder to the memorystick. (but i would'nt do that cause it won't make any difference! but if u want 2 coppy exactly wat i did, use PSP Filer)! . i also backed up the iso and img . I Opened the gtapsp.img with yaie (use newer version) nd clicked yes wen asked if i wanted 2 make the file! (can't remember what file it asked)! . I did'nt use LCS/VCS TEX! . I right clicked texture 1 and module1 and extracted them 2 a folder that i would remember! (my brother never found out i did this on his computer)! . I did the same with the rest of vic's costumes and also with the peds i wanted! after i extrcted them, I called the textures and modules what they were eg. Texture1.clk > army1.clk! do the same with module eg. module.mdl > army1.mdl! do the same with the peds u wan't aswell! . i put the costumes in a costumes folder and the peds in a ped folder so i would'nt get mixed up! . I renaimed the 2 ped files i wanted 2 be the vics army file eg. bloody loweez2.clk & bloody lowweze.mdl > texture1.clk & Module1.mdl (thats not realy loweezez number) Do The same with the rest of the peds u want to replace vics costumes with! (i put the replaced named files in a folder called "GTA3PSP Folders"! . then i went back 2 yaie and right clicked the 2 of vics army costume files eg. Texture1.clk & Module1.mdl! click "REPLACE"! Go to the GTA3PSP Folders where your renamed ped files are and click enter! do the same with the module! . Do the same with all of vics costumes files and agan, replace them with the files in the GTA3PSP FOLDERS file! . I use UMDGEN v2.00! . open up the iso u burned with UMDGEN v2.0! (Make sure its a backup of the file u burned so if it dos'nt work, just re do it till it dose!) . go 2 the gta3.img folder on umdgen and right click it and click replace! . select the folder u modded . click save and save the iso . put it on your memory stick. what i did is save the iso straight 2 the iso folder on my memory stick! . see if it has worked! note: Agean, it has 2 be saved as a ISO not CSO! I'me sorry about the spelling and some people may find this info pointless or anoying, but i just wanted people 2 know what exactly i did 2 make this work first time! hope this info was helpfull!
