so that's why. well I also tried to load the normal torso in 512, but then add the ripped and fat overlays in 256, game loaded OK, but the bigger texture didn't scaled properly,

 

I switch back to 256, since in SA all the 3 textures are loaded at the same time, with transparancy blending according to CJ's current phisical state, it probably will heavily taxed our fps rate.

 

I have the 512 res also since I work on it as a master set, but I'm still tweaking again right now.

lol what's up with the beard , yes obviously I need to edit all the clothings that show his arm or neck, since the texture is different now,

thanks, but nobody has the complete set now, not even me.

this is WIP and beta release, so feel free to download the textures individually, and import them with TXDworkshop.

the final set would probably different then what is shown now, like the skull cap hair I just finished today will replace the low res scalps on all the previous hairs I posted yesterday.

and some new textures with sideburns, can be used for afro set or elvis hair, etc.

Thanks for the feedback, I'll have a look again, the mesh is quite basic so the texture need to be rendered with fake lighting to compensate what's lack of it, otherwise the face would look dull (same condition with skinning in the sims 2, different in TES4 oblivion there I can make the skin softer but looks real in game)

 

Oh BTW your highpoly mesh is much anticipated Slim Shady III

OK i understood your point, here what I comes up with,

I change the rendering of the face, before it was a single source lighting, now I tried to make the cheek

less glossy, and make a stronger looking jaw, by adding secondary lighting from the side,

here the comparison check the side part of the face and nose, it has subtle light now.

and the most left pic showed from distance there is no white spot anymore.

but if you check what rockstar did with other actors, like Reese the barber, there is lots of white highlighting on his face, so it's just a matter of style actually.

Umm yes he does look like CJ, and i think its really great model.
