ViceCity_CRACKHEAD94
What do you think if Carl were the main guy in GTA: LCS? A Runnin' Dogg who jacks cars all over the town I see no wrong with Toni, but i really want to know what CJ was doing in Liberty in the late 80s ...i heard he worked for Joey at that time ..pretty nice, tho! BUT Liberty City Stories is already made ..so
saintdave
Wouldn’t work with the way the series events unfolded. Yes CJ was in Liberty City (late 80’s to ‘92) but after sorting out SA I think it’s safe to say he stayed there. Given his double cross of Sal I think this would be even more of a reason not to set foot there.
Smiley001
If you really want to see CJ in LCS, you might want to check out a billboard on the right next to the Church in Staunton Island, but you probably already knew that anyway...

Mz. Hazey
I would've been more inclined to buy this one if you were Carl instead of Tony. To be real honest I am sick of the whole "Mafia" style games (and I'm part Italian)! I feel it's just getting played out with all the Godfather, Mafia, etc games coming out. I rather see a new theme. I'm glad GTA has stopped using Mafioso characters as the leads the last few games (SA, VCS, IV, CTW). Time to get into other crime organizations, it's more fun to me because I rather learn about other crime cultures, I know enough about the Mafia and am sick of it's exploitation, it's not even really in effect too much anymore anyway. It would've been cool to set LCS back before San Andreas in the late 1980's or perhaps very, very early 90's and seen how Carl did out there in Liberty City. Then again, I'm a big CJ fan so of course I would like to see this happen. A lot of people really don't like him and I doubt Rockstar would ever make a playable lead be the lead of another installment too. Would've been awesome to me though, just I'm not the biggest fan of the Liberty City setting either...it's kind of getting old.
Playstation_Loyalist
Meh. CJ belongs to the Western Coast vibe.
gta 4 gamer
I don't think that CJ was a good protagonist. He got a good life in san andreas when he cleared up the hood. And when he double-crossed Mr. Leone, he will die in Liberty city.

And note: The creator of this thread is talking about the 1998 events of liberty city. Sal was living at that time.

Besides the original poster always posts the same stuff like "why couldn't we see ____ in ____?" "Why is this and why is that..."
darius940304
Meh. CJ belongs to the Western Coast vibe. That's absolutely corect....Toni is making a great game with LCS...the whole mafia and other things....and CJ with Sweet....and the Ballas....that is the best way....maybe if the gangs and Sweet and company would be in LC...it would work...but I doubt it....Lc is more of a Mafia city....than a street gang city:D
