the hubster Posted February 9, 2009 Share Posted February 9, 2009 I have a theory that GTA IV MP on the PC is 100% unmoderated, it seems the only likely explanation as to why every time I play, I see cheaters. So, does anyone here know of an actual case of someone being banned from GFWL for cheating? Cheaters laugh in the face of people telling them they will be banned, saying that no one has ever got banned from GFWL. I know nothing about PC gaming but it mustn't be hard to firewall servers against modded files. Maybe there's more people who enjoy modding / cheating online (whatever you want to call it) than don't. To me it sounds pretty cool. (though still not worth getting PC version.) Of course, I don't see why a pirate is any more likely to cheat than non pirates. But, cheaters won't be scared of an Xlive ban, if they can just make a new account. Multiplayer needs more people anyway. Some of the free roam servers where every player is a cheater are pretty cool, people don't mind if you spawn ramps in the airport.
