ViceCity_CRACKHEAD94
What do you think about Vic? Is he a good character?, for me he's a pretty good main.c, but why couldn't you play as Pete?? I think he's much more cooler. LOL, i'm not gay or something but Victor wasen't good looking at all as a GTA character! Post what You think! Upaluppa
Vic is the best main character so far along with CJ IMO. Yeah, I like him too, even, if he sometimes sounds a bit strange, always talking about not wanting to deal with drugs, but doing so anyways... But he was the first GTA Main character, who actually felt sorry for the many crimes, he was doing. Even though he did them anyways ! I like Vic, because he doesn`t seem to be a complete maniac, like Tommy Vercetti, to me this makes him somewhat likable. CJ just talked way too much, that`s what always bothered me about him. Except of that he was ok. And about Pete, we never really got to know who he was, or what he was like. So I don`t know what to think about him... nerner
In one of your early pager messages you find out that Pete is athsmatic, so it would not be very practical to have him running around and that.
Vercetti27
If he is a GTA protagainst he is always a complete maniac lol. Nice guy, quite funny, maybe too forgiving. It would have been better if he stayed in the army for longer in the game.

Only to find out, that you get kicked out of the army after three missions, which don`t have anything to do with the army. That was somewhat lame. I really expected R* to make a bit more out of this idea...

Flesh-n-Bone
Vic, Tommy and CJ where none of, running dogs, they all controlled a lot and ended up owning their city by the end of their games (VCS, VC and SA) respectively. Niko, Toni and Claude are running dogs - they always do favors for others and never set up their own work, neither own anything by the end of their games. I especially agree about Claude. Atleast for Toni it is understandable, because he don`t want to own the city, he only wants to serve his Don and become a high ranking Leone Mafia member. But Claude really only did what all kinds of sh*theads wanted him to. He could`ve gotten his revenge on Catalina without going trough all of this... Smiley001
why couldn't you play as Pete?? I think he's much more cooler. Realy? I guess it's pretty hard to like him, considering he never actually appears in the game, only slightly described by his brothers and not even personality wise... Mz. Hazey
I liked the guy a lot, but it was kind of awkward I must say. Even though he's my 2nd favorite playable character after Carl, I wish you played as someone more badass sometimes, like Lance. I liked the character for who he was and his ideologies going all the way through crazy drug lord stuff just to save his family, but he just didn't have the edginess I would have liked in a main character for GTA. A good movie character, but in GTA I want to be able to run around and kill everyone on the street just to do it. I know you could, but for whatever reason it just felt...out of character when I did it so I didn't do it often being as it was random and sort of pointless as Vic? I don't know. I loved Vic he was real cool, but if I'm playing a "bad guy" I want him to be bad enough...like CJ or Tommy. No more of this "nice guy trapped" stuff GTA is throwing at us a lot lately. I would've LOVED to play as Lance Vance being as he's one of my favorite video game characters of all time. I put in the cheat most of the game straight in the regular Vice City to turn Tommy into him.
Playstation_Loyalist
Well, I was touched by Vic's concern for Louise. But being in a GTA game, he looks out-of-place... Maybe in a movie, yeah.
nerner
Its like on GTAIV when all he is concerned about is empathy, I was like, for F*CKS SAKE NIKO, i did not buy the game for him to be concerned about other people, i bought it to pop some heads. Lol head popping is illegal, you know ? I agree about Niko and Vic, they are indeed not "coldhearted" enough to be the straight killing maniacs they used to be... Coolyfett
Vic was a pretty normal character from the start of the game, we wasn't normal after the Chulo attack for Phil. He had no issue killing Marty either. He is the offspring of a crack attic so.......There is something complex about him and all his siblings, they all have some sort of issue. It allows you to put yourself into the game and make Claude yourself, which is why I loved him.

I just think that they made his character have no voice because they were not confident enough to match up the voice-acting to the animation. As it was their first try at a 3D GTA.
