the only thing that bothered me was that there was some noticable frame rate drops in some parts of the game, other than that I really enjoyed it.

In Case 0 there's a pawn shop, I guess they're in the main game too.

in case zero: there is a guy you rescue who runs a pawnshop, you can buy an assorment of things

Capcom just announced at TGS that the Dead Rising 2: Case Zero prologue sold over 500,000 copies in under 2 weeks. With that knowledge, one can understand why they'd do an epilogue such as: Dead Rising 2: Case West.

 

Keiji Inafune revealed that the downloadable episode will take place after the events of Dead Rising 2 and, as teased, will feature Frank West (of the original Dead Rising) working with latest protaganist Chuck Greene. Inafune concluded, "Apologies to PS3 fans, but this too will be an Xbox 360 exclusive." We'll update as we learn more.

I wonder if your level will carry over from the main DR2 game, because I'll be stuck at level 5 from case zero, 'cause i'll be buying DR2 on PS3 because theres no way in hell I'm paying money to play it online.

I really hope the epilogue DLC is just some extra co-op missions with Frank and not in fact the real darn ending (like the PoP DLC).

 

I'm pretty much counting the days till release already, its been like forever since I was this excited for a game.

Shame for the PS3 users on the other DLC. Still, I'd be pretty happy to play aside with Frank again, although I hope they made him run a little better this time round. Excited for the game to come out as well although I still haven't got it pre ordered.

I'm kinda looking forward to getting this at some point. I had the original and found it rock hard when I first played it and it's kinda gathered dust for a while. Gonna have another crack at finishing the story before I bother getting #2.

 

I'm hoping for a cricket bat so I can recreate the best zombie movie ever...

Ive heard this game out for us tomorrow (EU) but im not sure if its true....

some websites say 24th, some say 1st Oct.....Wikipedia, gamestation UK and Capcam europe state that its out tomorrow but im just not sure. can someone please clear this up for me? Thanks.

This may be one of the few occasions the UK actually got a game release earlier than here stateside.

 

I went to go pick up my copy today and they told me it doesn't come out till Tuesday the 28th. Called around everyone here has that as the release date.

Is the game any good for the guys that have it? I had to pay for petrol so I'm out of any spending money for another couple weeks. And since that's the case I'm wondering if the games worth it when I can afford it or just wait until Fallout New Vegas is out. So yeah, play now or wait until it goes down in price and buy something else in Oct.

I'm quite enjoying it just as much as I did the first one. Updating now so I can play some Co-op!

Also, the best advice you could get is don't stop saving the game. It's f*cking irritating when you forget to.

Really enjoyed the first, and am really enjoying this one so far.

 

Got my character in a swat uniform and tonnes of guns. the combo weapons are a treat, the lightsabre is cool.

 

my only gripe with this game is the loading screens. theres alot of it, I think this game could be past this now, into a more seamless loading world, thats what I had hoped for with this game anyway.

Has anyone gotten past Leon? The guys a f*cking machine. ive been trying to get past him for about 2 hours now. The game is awesome so far, especially the train chase.

 

EDIT: Finally nailed that bastard. ive been sat here for like 5 hours and just killed him + got the bike mods

I started a Co-op campaign with my friend last night, it's freaking awesome. Definitely don't want to go back to Single Player now.
