Rhoda
Oh no. Blink 182 were alright, but DeLonge's ego is just a massive turn-off. I'm not looking forward to anything this whore-snowball of a band has to offer...

Travis barker clearly ran out of money due to all the massive skin graphs he had to under take from his recent burning.

Don Garcia aka NjNakedSnake
Their music isn't even hip anymore. Most Blink fans have graduated middle school by now.
Vercetti21
Man, that is great news. I grew up listening to these guys, and when they got into their more serious stage, I started following the band more and their music was really cool for me during some tough times. I always loved the fact that their music wasn't predictable compared to everyone else. You could be listening to an album and dancing around to a song about hot chicks and tacos, then the very next song that plays eases into a mellow beat and mopes about divorce or suicide. Most bands nowadays are divided into categories: the serious bands and the bands that play to have fun. And for a lot of them, I just never really saw the band member's personalities spilled out all over the music. It was never like that with Blink. There was always a balance in the music and what the lyrics were about, and each song really felt like you were getting to know the guys. Nevertheless, I will say that DeLonge has become an egotistical f*cktard since the Angels & Airwaves promotional bullsh*t. Never really got into +44 either, though I am a major Travis Barker fan. But what will happen to those bands now? Hopefully the reunion will go over smoothly. I'll be interested to see how the band has formed back together and how the new music will play out. JeNvEy
Their music isn't even hip anymore. Most Blink fans have graduated middle school by now. well so have they hence travis barkers rap scene, tom's AVA style of music, and Mark with +44 I think Blink's new album is going to be very mixed. You could tell they were evolving and getting more serious with there last album
Omnia sunt Communia
blink-182 may not be the greatest band in the world; but then again, I don't think they ever set out to be. The only thing blink-182 set out to do was have fun. They certainly did that. I think Tom's attitude is going to be a major hamper on the band's 'new sound.' He takes the music scene a lot more seriously than the rest of the band.
andysniper
i jizzed in my pants when i heard about this okay maybe not that far, but this band defined most of my teen years im f*cking stoked to hear theyre back i just hope tom doesnt f*ck it up, ive followed the band for a long time and liked all side projects, but AVA were just rubbish lets just hope they find a sound that suits them all, not just tom
Digital Murders
I can finally sleep at night. "Blink 182 is back!" He didn't sound to enthused. He knows no one really cares.
ass reamer
I might would go see them this summer of they tour anywhere near me. Their music has a lot of nostalgic value to me, especially the album "Enema of the State." I can remember listening to that album in like 4th grade with my friends, thinking it was the coolest sh*t ever. I still listen to 'em every now and then. outcest
i know more than a few folks whose live's have been made by this news... as for me...yeah i'd probably go if they came, as for sure it'd be one of the biggest social events of the year (i hate people, but i love gatherings...isn't it ironic?), and yeah, i do like older sh*t off Cheshire Cat and Dude Ranch. not much beyond that, but still. Nice Clerks reference there. I'm mostly feeling "meh" about this, as I've never been a fan of them. I'm more excited for the new Green Day album. Scarface187
When I first heard this I felt like I was transported back to 1999. I pretty much can't stand the band now and started to dislike them ever since they released their self-titled but hearing the stuff before that always brings back that great nostalgic feeling even if I don't listen to them anymore. darthYENIK
They were briefly cool for a short time after Dammit was released. But then they got old. I lived in the f*cking blink 182 fan capital of the world when they were popular. Travis Barker lived there and Famous Stars and Straps blew up out of the place. Everybody wore their "F"s and listened to that sh*t. Anyway. Why don't they ditch the 182, come into the 21st century and just be called blink? The name "Blink" belongs to some random Irish folk band or something. They could try "Blink." with the full stop/period. It works on GTAF anyway. Carbine23
I like their old albums better like Dude Ranch, Enema of the State and Take Off Your Pants and Jacket I remember the good old days when i was in elementary school and i listened to them. It wasn't until middle school (after they broke up) that i listened to them. I'm glad about their reunion but i hope they can nail it. I don't like their new stuff as much as their old stuff. I miss the days with their songs Dammit, What's My Age Again, and First Date. We'll see what happens.

It makes me wonder what the standard for band name copyrights are. It seems irrational to permanently grant a band with one name and no one else can ever use it, especially considering how stupid the numbers are. I know there was a band in the 60's called Nirvana and I'm pretty sure Kurt Cobain still got away with keeping his own band name. Blink 182 was sooo cool in 1999, it doesn't make me want to buy their album. Especially since that pseudo-punk serious sh*t they passed off as an album in 2003.
