flicko
...unless you have some kind of a super human stamina. ...or super embarassing problem. Time for PK to don his mass endurance gear and go beat another World record?
ryuclan
As for this tv guy...wouldnt someone have to be with him to witness the event , and therefore they too also broke the record? Or were they watching him watch tv? the most logical answer would be that there were 2-3 people who took turns. Just to destroy everything this guy lives for I'd be a judge and watch all of it with him. Plus watch like 10 minutes more. "Did I beat the record?" "No but I did "

beavis
I could beat this. with an ounce of coke You plan on staying up for the rest of the week? After 72 hours of consecutive staying up, I heard you'll start hallucinate and become very dellusional. Makes sense though. For me, even after staying up for 24 hours, I feel very confused. Kinda like an old person with Alzheimers (I'd imagine).

I hate to spoil it for you, but I doubt the human body could withold a whole week without sleep. Can't you die without a certain amount of sleep? Dingdongs
Give me some good porn with Latina chicks and I'll stay awake for 100 hours. Or just give me LOST...including the entire 5th season @ Irviding - You're an idiot. Go die Whoa, tuff guy! If you're trying to participate in a debate with me about how much you think I am wrong about Lost, saying " You're an idiot, go die " is not going to help your case. Anyway, I was awake for 32 hours once and felt like Ronald Reagan at the end of his presidency. I honestly felt like an old man with Alzheimers. I believe you can die after being awake for 90 hours or something, not sure. Keep in mind sleep deprivation is a form of torture, so it can't be good for you to stay awake that long. okei
What is classed as watching the TV? Do you actually need to pay attention to what's going on or do you just have to stare at the thing?
PacMaan
What about when he needed a piss? Was it a fakeass David Blane-style toilet breaks every hour type FAIL?
dills
I've watched one season of 24 all in one go before, not sure about 3 though. This does seem like the type of record that could be quite easy to break... maybe.
Algonquin Assassin
You wouldn't think it hard, but staying awake for 72 hours while staying stationary? That sounds pretty bloody hard to me. That's what I was thinking. Hell I can't sit for 5 hours watching TV before my back, and eyes start to get sore. 72 hours is a long time to be sitting in one spot. Cursed
I'm sure if I had even less of a life, and no responsibilites at all, I could sit in front of the TV for 72 Hours. Not stay awake for it, but I suppose it would be alright to just laze in and out of sleep on a big sofa with a duvet or something. Cursed sets new life aspiration
!!GC!!
So he got up and went to get loads of coffee? That isn't 72 hours straight. LIAR. Edited February 10, 2009 by !!GameCH33TA!!

Neal40000
...for non-stop broadcast-television watching, clocking 72 hours ...watched three seasons of the drama series "24'' featuring Kiefer Sutherland... i dont get it, he watched DVD's or like live tv showing 24 ? cuz first it sounds like he watched normal tv then i sounds like he watched three box sets ? i would easily beat his record by watching all 10 seasons of southpark if i liked the taste of coffee.
