Lycaness Posted February 9, 2009 Share Posted February 9, 2009 Ok here goes. I have NVIDIA GeForce 8200M G and i know under 8600 is not really recommended. Game runs, but it lags alot, so in options is see that game uses Dedicated Memory: 238 MB but i have extra Shared Memory: 639 MB RAM support but it wont use that. Is it possible somehow to combine those 2 to to make preformance better or am i talking complete crap here?' chngdman Posted February 9, 2009 Share Posted February 9, 2009 Laptops all across the board will have a very difficult time coping with this marvel of technological achievement. That said, what is your processor? Your video card is not holding you back unless your settings are absurd for your capabilities, the CPU is a crucial part of this game, and so is heat. Laptops do not handle heat well, operate like sh*t under load, and are always throttling you. One way to combat that is to turn off any power saving features that are set in the power management options. Still, it is important to know your processor. Preferably, you will link us directly to your exact laptop model. Again, your gfx card should cope on modest to low settings, but what resolution are you running, and what are the rest of your specs?
