Strazdas
Okay guys, i got this very weird problem here. Im running gta 4 on my Laptop, and since its not the ultra machine i want to play it on low. But the game does not allow me to. I can set the vehicle density and draw distances, however when it comes to rendering, shadow, water, and all other qualities, if i change the settings and press apply the game screen restarts (going black for like 3 seconds, im guessing it reloads graphic engine), thne shows the changed settings, but only for a blink of an eye, then freezes again for 3+ seconds and changes back to previous ones. I can not make it go on lwoer settings and therefore im getting low Fps. I am running Vista home premium SP1 x32 if that helps. Can anyone help me with this problem or tell me how to edit settings.cfg manually, because it seems to be encrypted. These settings tear my frame rates down to 10-20fps, which makes game quite annoying. Thanks in advance, STRAZDAS P.S. the same thing happens when changing my resolution. But i use -width and -height in command line for that. I tried changing with command line off too, no effect, except that when it goes back to previous one it no longer listens to high and weight and sets resolution to 1440x900(my desktop resolution). gosse15
I have the same problem... When I installed gta on my computer, it was all fine, but my comp is to slow, so I installed on my laptop. After all the work I had done, the resolution just won't change and I can't barely play the game with all the lagg... If you have a solution, mail me please: [email protected]
