How do you enter command lines?

...I am not as computer savvy as some of you.

 

With the new patch they say I have to enter that command line for my Logitech to work...I have NO IDEA how to do that.

Open notepad

Copy and paste this into it (-usedirectinput) no brackets

Save as (commandline) no brackets

 

Click start / my computer / whichever hard drive GTAIV is in double click / programme files / Rockstar games / GTAIV /and just paste the commandline file from notepad anywhere in there.

Where the hell do I enter the command line?

 

I can't even figure out which file to enter it in. I try to open every .exe file that says GTAIV or LaunchGTAIV and it just has a bunch of gibberish.

 

Exact steps with the exact name of the file would help.

 

I don't have any file that says command line or is listed in the "type" as command line.

 

I have Vista64 if that helps.

Create a file called commandline usingh notepad, add the commands you want inside it (type using keyboard ), close it saving and put this file inside GTA 4 main folder.
