Honestly everyone thought that gta 4 would be set in a Chicago type environment. But Rock* stuck with there guns and went back to liberty city and a new york type environment(like gta 3). They are probably are planning to remake all the cities and maybe adding one more. Half the buildings in gta VC & SA were modified versions on gta 3 buildings. They could release a gta, by years end or they could wait till next year. be patient. Another thing gta 3 was never completed. Rock* wanted to add more stuff to it, but, because of the lack of space on dvd's they couldn't. SA was too big and had too many features to comprehend(which made it fun). VC was meant to tell a story of an ex-convict who just got released from a 15 year sentence(which means Tommy is not in gta 3 he was still in jail and VC was set in 1987, GTA3 - between 1981 & 85 i dunoh exactly). lastly if anyone wants to argue i'll gladly take u on. But my facts are solid. i've played and beat all the 3D gta's(GTA3, VC, SA, IV) 5 - 10 times i should know what i'm talking about Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

There's not necessarily anything to it, but it still means people are talking about the franchise. That's a good thing, considering this is GTAForums and is part of a GTA fan network. What's good for the series is good for everyone involved here. I'm glad we have a place where we can express ourselves. I think enough's been said in this particular topic.
