Trouble007
Seriously though i know what you mean about convenience, but for £1000 you could have a seriously kick ass rig. why dont you pay someone to build you it? id even do it for you! from what i remember of Packard HELL (as known in the industry) they are pretty pants as a PC manufacturer. SCLASS
True guys, I spose its the labour, knowing the right ppl, dont forget, 22 inch monitor included. Im just a lazy bstard. I got reasonable savings, so aint fussed. Will prob upgrade card in future. Will be happier with solid fps though, thx for replys. have heard bad things about compatibility between motherboard, card, etc...just dont wanna run risk. Having said the above tho, there is a place in Worcester that builds em for a charge, might give em a ring, see what they could put together for similar cost. Just dont wanna be shafted. badguy
the Packard Bell iPower X9810 has a intel quad q8200. I have a q8200 with a 9500gt and i get 25-35 fps with the settings at: Graphics Settings Video Mode: 1280 x 720 (60 Hz) Texture Quality: High Render Quality: High Reflection Resolution: Low Water Quality: Low Shadow Quality: Medium View Distance: 1 Detail Distance: 56 Definition: Off VSync: On So you should play this game with no problems with better settings than mine. I went there a few weeks ago and asked the tech support person where the cpu's were and they said they didn't have any. I then said you dont sell processers? and the guy said oh yeah and pointed to a shelf unit he was standing in front of behind the counter.
