And after upgrading comp. after tweaking and nursing and squrtching(?) soft and hardware. I finally got the game up and running with a deasent framerate 30 in 1280*1024. BUT i cant see where im f*cking driving?????????? I this was a car presentations show great you get it from ALL angles. I have seen this issue in on other site, not solved though. ut i havent found in this forum, since the search function is disabled? Could someone please help me to get a fixed cam angel, a fix or mod anything?? And dont say it cant be done because the opposite allready exists in the game. If one push the key for look behind you get a very fixe and steady cam. Hydro_PT Posted February 7, 2009 Share Posted February 7, 2009 I think he's talking about how the camera is not fixed, and not about the drunk camera. Well it's something you must cope with, I think. Since GTA SA that the camera moves freely with the car, and you must use the mouse to fix it. It's way better in my opinion, I prefer to control the camera by myself. Jesus christ calm the f*ck down. haha. He wants to know if there is a way to keep the camera locked to the back of the car while turning and stuff. (Like in the Gran Turismo series on playstation.) But as i recall though its what... 3 years since i plays San Andreas, the cam was fixed behind the vehicle even on the off road bike i thight alley it was allway straight behind you. And i mean why have Rockstar made such a loose chase cam. If you press the look behind key you fast get a straight cam looking behind the car and very steady following every movement of the car. But never more fixed that if you should want to change the angle, you could use the mouse. Well you haven't been lurking enough. There has been talk of camera modification as far back as dec 12th. I'm always moving it with my mouse, even when not going around corners. And i'm glad it takes a long time to move, otherwise it would fight my mouse. In fact, I would prefer it didn't turn the camera on it's own at all. What's so hard with driving with your left hand, and having your right hand on the mouse? It's exactly the same as walking... Its just a matter of habit. I just think especially in gta 4 with its very un even road layout compared to SA and the very "realistic" car behaveior I get more control with my right hand on the arrow keys especially in a tight chase.
