The BigSlick
damn your guys' choice of music sucks. what's up with all the mainstream bullsh*t? gta isn't all about mainstream. f*ck mainstream so called "hip-hop". Yeah agreed. And to the other guy, its Boyz In Tha Hood not "cruisin in my 6-4" and no it was not in SA. Does any one actualy have an idea to when R* gives information about pack II? JOSEPH X
This Maisonette 9 thing makes me mad - I've got to find it. OK, top notch club in New York City. I took a look at Quype and found this: Bungalow 8 See here - this is the entrance of Bungalow 8 See Map - here is Bungalow 8 Also: Bungalow & Maisonette are house types. A Maisonette is a 2 story appartment, while a Bungalow is a 1 story house without basement. So, what are we looking for: - 2 Story House? - Unremarkable door with neon on the left? - West side Algonquin slightly south of the booth tunnel? I'll report in if I find something. Maybe some of you search with me. PS. I don't want to look for Hercules (the gay club) - I don't know what my GF thinks when I look for gay clubs in manhattan ... If Maisonette 9 plays a part in DLC2, and R* copy Bungalow 8, then check out this building. It`s the white two story building under the disused railway line. For me it`s the peds who make this a convincing choice for M9 (lots of pretentious, shallow types). Don`t be fooled by the drab exterior too, it could be done up like the Lost clubhouse was. i like coffee enemas
I've always wondered about that building. It's not too detailed but it's a lot more detailed than the other buildings on that street. It stands out, so it could be used for something at some point. It definitely looks like a club with the funky dancers on the windows. Besides, that part of Algonquin is relatively unused in IV and TLAD, so it would make sense to place one of Gay Tony's clubs there. I'm looking around the area now and there's some huge apartment complex I've never come across before. Gonna go check it out EDIT: Nothing there. Looks like it could be used for something though. Leo Colt
Well we can be sure it's definitely in lower Algonquin, as the police database specifies this. Can someone post a picture of this place? Edited February 26, 2009 by Leo Colt
zeppelincheetah
there hasn't been much discussion (or any at all) in this topic of when this will come out. I'd say it'll come out this year, maybe even in the traditional GTA release month - October. the original game came out in april 29th and it took until february 17th the next year for TLAD to come out. well North was busy porting IV to the PC and also consulting Leeds on Chinatown Wars. They had to deal with putting out patches for the PC version too. So they really had their hands full. This time? PC version is finally fixed (I think) and Chinatown Wars is almost done. Also, with TLAD they had to figure out just how to make the expansion work and fix out the kinks. with DLC 2 they know what they're doing and they have no other projects they're working on. So TLAD took 10 months and I think DLC 2 will probably take only 8 months.
Bing45
My guess is we first hear info about the game around E3, and the episode gets released in October/November, in time for the holidays.
AZAZEL
I'll be updating the main post with some more pictures of Luis, and adding some of the theories posted in the thread. If you have some pictures of Luis during some of the missions he participates in (Museum Piece, Three Leaf Clover and Diamonds are a Girl's Best Friend), it would be most appreciated. Is common sense now so rare, that we should call it something else?

My bad, dude But yeah, might aswell just inform you now you know about it. Luis makes his forth GTA appearence in that mission. It's a Johnny related mission though and is not a crossover mission. Lordvespid
I don't know whether anyone has noticed this but if you log onto the LCPD database, each Grand Theft Auto character that features in the Grand Theft Auto series who happens to be on there is always noted as having commited Grand Theft Auto. Niko Bellic has it. Johnny Klebitz has it. Huang Lee has it. And most importantly, Luis Fernando Lopez has it too. This could also be another chunk of evidence that he will be the protagonist in the second DLC. Either Rockstar was giving us a hint from the start, or I've just overlooked something. Derelict Frog
One thing I'm most looking forward to is seeing Bulgarin again. I definitely think we'll be seeing him in the next episode. He's such a mysterious character. Why has he come to Libery City? Why is he claiming that the diamonds belong to him? What else has he been up to in his stay besides chasing after the diamonds and having Niko shot at? I just can't wait to find out more about him. I personally think he'll try and take on the Ancelotti family. How awesome would that be? How badass would that make Bulgarin?! He's the most intriguing character in the whole story I think. I would love to see a GTA old-skool battle of the Italian mafia versus the Russian mob. Similar to the conflict between the Triads and the Mafia in GTA III. Judging by what Gravelli thought of the Russians. I presume the commission (one of which is the Ancelotti family for whom Luis works) is in some serious war with the Russians. gamesguru
I just noticed that when you go up the scaffolding behind the museum (where Luis shoots from) , if you go up to the rooftop (where Luis is seen shooting down into the South-West window panel in the credits) you will notice that the southern window panels are now more detailed and have a metal mesh other them, with one of the meshes slightly bent up showing that it might open. Not only that, the northern ones remain un-changed probably showing that you will not be using these in this mission as Luis (if the DLC does have him as the protagonist). In addition to this, there is a rooftop door that leads down into the museum (Luis goes down to obtain the diamonds?), however it lakes detail and is un-enter able as Niko and Johnny. swift86
Although I do really like this theory on whats going to happen I do seriously doubt it Rockstar says that they want to fill in the gaps with their DLC and I feel like they pretty much have with the "DIAMOND IN THE DIRT" senario why would we need a sniper mission (exciting) I reckon it's more likely to point towards Playboy or Dwayne I know Playboy ignorant f***ing a** HOLE but do remember Dwayne was going on about Playboy changing although Playboy X claims he ain't changed but Dwayne could be interesting starting off in jail now how many criminals shoot 267 people and just spawn infront of a police station 6 hours later you could have Dwayne doing minor missions for his fellos lags, bent wardens even a drug taking mini game similar to the drinking mini game in GTAIV except you got to avoid the wardens cause you trippin and avoid the prisoners since your vulnarable although doubtful still would be pretty cool. He`s also involved in the underground fight scene, and concerned about his younger brother Alonso`s involvement in the criminal underworld. I think Alonso and Willy will get them into some sh*t and they`ll have to save their asses. About the fight scene, I wonder if it`ll be anything like DefJam Fight For New York? Derelict Frog
I am sure during the game we will meet Teddy Benavidez as well (whom Niko shoots / shoves / explodes off the top of that building in that mission from Ray Boccino - A Long way to Fall), as he is involved with the Northwood Dominican Drug Dealers, and quite high up apparently. He may be a character similar to Jason, in that he plays a minor role, but is killed off, and the Drug Dealers then start a serious feud/war/vendetta with the Pegorino mob, whom they blame for his death. I think he does that so that his Bosses dont know where he has went outside of his job so he cant get killed or hunted down.
