Graphically updated versions of the Formula R, Resolution X, Mk GT9, 500 XLR8, Style SR, CityScape etc? I would really like to see those in game, along with some of the older street racers from San Andreas. I was even thinking of a whole mission set based around an underground street racing club. Versityle Posted May 23, 2009 Share Posted May 23, 2009 It's a small thing but I'm somehow surprised at the fact that no mission in either IV or TLAD whether it be a main or side mission requires you to drive a stretch. Somehow in the past games there was always an excuse to do so. Maybe if we play as Luis seeing how he's involved with Gay Tony, the mafia and clubbing there might perhaps be a Stretch involved. In the TLAD you chase Gay Tony's boyfriend in a stretch to retrieve the diamonds maybe we actually get to drive it. In Vice City you drive Love Fists Stretch and in all five games for Ps2 there's the side missions of collecting vehicles for export and a Stretch is always on the list. The reason I was thinking this is because after owning GTA IV for over a year I never found myself driving a Stretch even though I see them occassionally and it got me to thinking "hm... you never have to drive a Stretch in this game" The reason I brought it up in this section is because I was thinking of Luis' tie in's with the mafia and a club owner and my guess is that a Stretch would be invovled. Again it's a very small subject, it'll be forgotten about soon on this section. In fact I'm a little flabbergasted by some of these ridiculous rumored titles floating around: Blood and a Four Leaf Clover Battle After All Fights Love Central City of the Hood seriously, where are these stupid titles coming from??? I didn't finish LCS so I'm guessing that the limo was driven during missions in mostly every 3D GTA before IV. A protagonist has to be able to go from dead funny to deadly serious in a flash, while keeping his credibility and integriity. He would have to make incredible, explosive situations seem believable for the player, yet be cool to control while freeroaming. I don`t think there`s an inch of Liberty City where the two protagonists we`ve had so far have looked out of place, and it will be exactly the same with Luis. I`ll admit his missions were the most entertaining, and he`s a funny guy, but you can`t take him serious. Do you reaaly think R* will give us "Three Leaf Clover" from Packie`s point of view? adamcs Posted May 24, 2009 Share Posted May 24, 2009 I was messing around in the mission "Museum Piece" and noticed some things which I hadn't seen before. First of all, the roof panel (which Luis is seen shooting during the end credits of TLAD) is missing. Normally this panel is always there, but for this particular mission it's gone: Secondly, I never noticed before that Isaac is hiding down there behind one of the boxes, so this is obviously who Luis steals the diamonds from. I don't know how obvious this was, but I tend to play through the missions pretty fast which means I usually miss these things. It doesn't exactly reveal anything new, but it's interesting nonetheless. Also, during Three Loaf Clover, if you go away from the bank and come back later on, Luis is the only civillian remaining - all the others are gone for some reason: Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

This info appears often in this thread, but I`m glad you brought it back up because Ive done that mish again today, to see who the enemies are in the museum and they are all Isaac`s men. I originally thought there were some Ancelottis too, with Luis, but no. It seems Luis is a lone wolf on this. I think when we play this mission from Luis` POV we`ll be simply mugging Isaac for the ice and walking out the front door, past a lot of dead bodies. As for Luis in the bank, it just shows he aint a random ped. I think Rockstar was planning on this being the "Impossible Trinity" mission seeing how both Johnny and Luis are actually NPC sprites during it. It's the same with Johnny When playing Museum Piece as Niko you actually can witness Johnny escaping so I think the same thing is happening with Luis. Right after the cutscene i did airbreak mod through the windows, luis wasnt there, i looked around and he is nowhere. I don't know what kind of Irish you know, but in my experience (and I'm half Irish myself) the Scots are the only people that the Irish might hate more than the English. There has to be some way Isaac survives and makes it to the majestic. The alternative is that you march him at gunpoint thru the museum and kidnap him, which I doubt.
