The Second Episode

Yeah it is true.

About the second DLC in November, it was confirmed a while ago it was coming out before October 31st.. my guess is it is totally complete or close to by now and marketing is being prepared.

When do you think we will hear about it? Like the title, subdomain on rockstargames.com .. etc.

Good question. Keep in mind that this just an early release date. Remember how GTA IV was supposed to come out in October and the Lost and the Damned was supposed to come out in August? Both were delayed for 6 months... I hope that Take-Two and Rockstar are actually on the same page here.

I think we'll have to wait a few months. Keep in mind it hasn't even been a month since The Lost and Damned was released. I doubt R* will be the first to update their site, it will probably be a news story for Variety or USA today that names the protagonist and the release date. I hope it comes in early summer but who knows.

people are saying that TLAD was kinda out of date in graphics

if its released in late 2k9 dont u think the graphics maybe even the physics will be majorly out of date

what do you guys and girls think?

Has anyone noticed that you can actually execute Luis in Three Leaf Clover? I decided to try, on a whim, after watching the cutscene, and sure enough, I was able to shoot him without consequence. I also shot two other civilians, but failed the mission after shooting the third, due to "killing too many innocents."

Photographic evidence (minor spoiler alert!):

Obviously it won't make a difference if Luis is indeed the protagonist of the second episodic content pack, but I thought it was an interesting plot hole just the same.

has anyone seen Luis during museum piece??

No, the only times you see him are at the window in the cutscenes and on the roof in the end credits of TLAD

You could say that he's as dead as Niko/Johnny when you get 'killed' during gameplay. In other words, he could just be unconscious.

Indeed. Besides, he shows up later in 'Diamonds Are A Girl's Best Friend', alive and kicking. smile.gif

Maybe the second DLC will have the inclusion of a long awaited Zombie mode moto_whistle.gif .

Haha that would be legendary. Especially if it was online co-op too. Like a city wide version of Dead Rising. Sniping approaching zombies atop them factory towers would be funny.

I wasn't suggesting that I was confused about it, I just thought it was an interesting little glitch (or, plothole, really) considering the fact that he's seen two other times in the story, and he's seen once in TLAD where he's not seen in Niko's story.

Edit: I changed my mind. In "Diamond's Are a Girl's Best Friend" Bulgarin clearly says that "fagot" and his Dominican "bitch" sole them from him. He is convinced. But as we have seen in "Diamonds In the Rough" this is clearly not the case. It's far to vague to interperate really on second thought. But I still think Gay Toni's money troubles relate to the diamonds and Bulgarin in some way. I think it is plausible that Bulgarin leaves in a hurry to set off after Gay Toni and Luis in his car, while Niko and Packie kill off his goons; which is probably a generalized assumption amongst most GTA fans.

Guanxi, I don`t think you need to use spoiler tags for speculation, haha. But anyway, at the end of IV the fate of GTs clubs is announced on the radio and in the Liberty tree website and it aint what you said. I imagine they`ll be existing buildings, remodelled for the episode.

What I`m wondering is will Heathcliffe Waterstreet and Gavin Finkle be appearing in DLC2. They`re both banned from Hercules, one for trying to dismantle the speakers and the other for turning tricks in the toilets. They`re in a gay relationship and live together in Purgatory, so they could come into contact with gay Tony and Luis.

Gavin is killed by Johnny, right? I think they will give him a short backstory, because it is an important point in gay toni's story. I don't remember heathcliff? I can't wait to see some more of Bernie and Gracie as well and a short cameo from French Tom.

No, we haven't seen Gavin Finkle or Heathcliff Waterstreet. They're only on the database.

Ah, my bad. I'll add a section with plotholes/twists to the main post.

Mind ellaborating on that? I'm guessing you're referring to 'Diamonds in the Rough'? Was Niko even present?

I think he just meant that we only see Luis once outside of Niko's story, and that is of course in the mission you named.

Is it possible we can't find either of the two clubs because they have been closed down?

Liberty Tree reports the two clubs were closed down and (Gay) Tony Prince goes off commenting about how LC is like Idaho and then says "nothing against Idaho"... lol.gif

Maybe we can't find them because they've been closed down!

EDIT: This is the best picture I could get of Luis in the end credits, and it isn't of a very good quality (but if you want a thumb of it still, then I'll do one):

I think they should just use the Bahama Mama's building, since it's a good spot with no use in the game. First time I saw it I thought it was one of Tony's clubs, anyways.

No, which is why I said "where he's not seen in Niko's story."

Maybe we can't find them because they've been closed down!

That`s at the end of Niko`s story. They`re very much open until then, judging by the ped dialogue. I`m guessing they`ll be like the lost clubhouse, inaccessible at the end of the story, except I don`t think we`ll be using them as safehouses.

This will be a long post, mainly dealing with what characters we'll be seeing. I just read the entire LCPD database, so I think I'm on to a few things. A lot of which have been mentioned before.

First off, we know Luis is Gay Tony's bodyguard. So we can lay this out easily enough:

1. Gay Tony Prince

2. Evan Moss (Tony's boyfriend from TLAD)

Then using the in game dialogue and database we can infer a few more things:

3. Bernie Crane and possibly Bryce Dawkins (The database lists Bernie as a club goer, and you can infer as much in IV when he tells Niko about dancing in Hercules, and again in TLAD when you listen in on the Infernus bug and he is once again talking about it, even talking about how hot Luis is)

4. Gavin Finkle (Listed on the database as a transvestite who is banned from Tony's clubs)

5. Heathcliff Waterstreet(Gavin's boyfriend and also banned)

Secondly, we know that Tony and Luis are associates of the Ancelotti crime family:

6. Giovanni Ancelotti (The head of the family, so duh.)

7. Gracie Ancelotti (Listed on the database as being often seen with Gay Tony)

8. Frankie Garone (Remember when you have to dress like an Albanian and chase a guy down on a bike? That's this guy. He is a capo for the Ancelottis, basically he's like Ray, only for the Ancelottis)

9. Charlie Matteo (Chubby Charlie, the guy you go into the Sprunk factory to kill, you know, he gets in a heli and you shoot it down and it crashes through the building and blows up? He is Giovanni's right hand man, and a big player in the family business.)

We also know that Luis lives in Northern Algonquin.

10. Alonso Gomez (Listed as in a gang that includes Luis)

11. Oscar Gomez (Same deal, both brothers are also listed as having some involvement in the same underground street fighting as Luis)

12. Willy Valerio (Listed as being in the same gang)

13. Teddy Benavidez (Another North Algonquin Dominican. He is a dealer who Niko kills in Long Way to Fall)

14. Clarence Little (the head of a drug ring, killed by Niko for Francis. Probably won't be seen as he is a morality choice and or optional encounter)

15. Marlon Bridges (in North Holland Hustlers, also killed, although i can't quite remember it being by Niko, anyone know when he dies?)

Also that area leaves it open to people like Jayvon, Cherise, Dwayne, and Playboy, but because of the uncertain fates of those characters, i can assume they won't be seen.

Lastly, just two more little ideas i've seen or had.

16. Joe Corolla (A member of the Pavano family. He is often seen hanging out with dealers in North Algonquin. He may play a part there. Not to mention he is listed as deceased, so, maybe we'll be putting the old stops on him?)

17. Ray Bulgarin (disappears after Diamonds are a Girl's Best Friend. Of course it is often thought that Luis chases him down after that meet and kills him.)

That is my list of characters I can see appearing. Thoughts are very wanted.

KGBeast, Marlon`s the one dressed like a damn canary in "Photo Shoot". You also didn`t mention Tony Black from "Actions Speak Louder Than Words" he`s an Ancelotti capo too.

It`ll be interesting to see who`s left in the database after CW comes out. I`m pretty sure the Messinas are in CW judging by one of the screenshots on the official site, although I wouldn`t bank on any of them being in it, remember Leila Sharpe?

I can't believe I forgot Marlon considering I played that mission yesterday. I mean, really, how do I forget sneaking up on someone and blowing them away with a shotgun to the face?

And Tony Black, I knew I was forgetting someone, and that explains why I felt that twinge of remorse as I skipped past him on the database. That could be a good point, Gerry has you kill him to make it look like someone else did, who exactly was he meeting with again? He could die and then Luis would be sent to deal with the people thought to have done it.
