Girish
AFAIK, none. Steam users have always suffered when it comes to trainers/mods. It's just a downside of downloading a game even though you pay for it. It really sucks, tbh.

Maybe you should think before you talk and to orignal poster download this trainer http://www.gtagaming.com/downloads/gta-iv/script-mods/2115 and use this asi loader to get the trainer working http://www.gtagaming.com/downloads/gta-iv/tools/1976

But I know, there are lots who have problems, but it is very very easy OP: Just use Rockstar social club only after steam is Closed. It will complain about closing if social club is open. Close all steam apps then open Social Club. If this doesn't work, given the amount of these mods I've played with, you're doinitwrong

Maybe you should think before you talk I have never downloaded anything from Steam and I was only talking from the harrowing experience Steam users have had after downloading San Andreas from there. So, I assumed it's the same case with IV. Guess not.
ptr00f
I've just downloaded the trainer and all the needed stuff, I didn't know that the trainer doesn't work for steam version, and it worked. So u dont need anything special, just install it as normal.
