GTA IV stops responing 1.0.1.0 *getting crazy*

Hello guys!

Now i have this problem my GTA IV (bought from store) stops responding in vista ultimate 64bit sp1.

I can play fine depending on, 5mins to 2 hours.

Before i reinstalled my vista, because it stop starting. GTA IV run perfectly fine, patch 1.0.1.0.

(reinstalled vist about 1 month ago, and everything is up to date.)

And i cant think of installing patch 1.0.2.0 cause then it wont start at all.

anyone has an idea of what i could try to do, or does anybody know what causes the crash?

i would appreciate all replys.

funny, i said it wont start at all then.
