Dingdongs
I was watching the gametrailer preview, and the VP of creative development for R* was there and when it was brought up about the second episode, the interviewer states " If you look at the musuem mission, the three characters meet at the museum, and when you complete it the achievement is " Impossible Trinity " meaning that thats when the three protagonists meet. The VP then laughed and looked at the floor saying " Those are some interesting connections, thats all I am going to say" Looks like Luis is our protag for episode two. gregrein
Yeah I agree. I was watching that to and now its just a matter of time before Luis is confirmed as the 2nd dlc character.
Brawly
Sweet, also on wikipedia it says Luis is rumoured to support illegal underground fight clubs so that should be cool. Wonder if it will be like San Andreas where you do boxing in the gym.

Beefybong
Looks like Luis is our protag for episode two. Lets not get ahead of ourselves. Although the Rockstar employee in the Gametrailers interview did have a big smirk on his face when the Impossible Trinity theory was mentioned. We'll just have to wait and see. darthYENIK
I don't think it's a confirmation. Those Rockstar guys are pretty sneaky. Although it feels right that he's the man for DLC 2.

.:Alex:.
Hm. I had already assumed that the "Impossible Trinity" achievement was a reference to the three protagonists (in another post somewhere). But I have to agree that it's gotta be Luis. There's no one else at the museum who would make a suitable protagonist. You kill pretty much everyone else who was there. Edited February 7, 2009 by .:Alex:. Davexen
Hey guys, since it's pretty obvious chances are Luis is going to be the protagonist for the second DLC, I was just wondering: Am I the only one who thinks Luis is a coward? When Niko, Packie, Derrick and Michael came to rob the bank he was cowering in fear on the floor. When Niko, Isaac and Johnny were doing the deal in the museum he hid behind the window and shot an unarmed man in the back, and when he exchanged the diamonds for Gracie he just agreed with the whole situation, giving the diamonds to Packie and Niko. Imagine Tommy Vercetti in his situation, He wouldn't have taken crap from Packie and Niko like that. He would've shot them both in the face and take off with the diamonds himself. Don't get me wrong, I like Johnny a lot, it looks like he's not about to take sh*t from anyone. But about Luis, I'm not too sure. But you all seem pretty excited about Luis for some reason. Well, tell me what you think
JOSEPH X
Well I don`t know about you, but I certainly wouldn`t f*ck with this guy. He`s the motion capture and voice actor behind Luis Fernando Lopez.
LitoBX
Does matter if he is or isn't, he's a missing piece in the puzzle of IV.

aldisdzerve
Totally agree. I hated Tommy Vercceti. Thats why i didn't like vice city. But i loved Vice City Stories. Tommy was just so - I don't care about anyone else except myself. hated that. Loved CJ. He was my favorite propagandist.

How the hell is he a coward? 3 irish guys and a serbian man in balaclavas and machine guns come storming in the bank..what the hell is he supposed to do... Also, there lots of conspiracies that he will be the next DLC protagonist. I hope not.

GameJesus
saw this on another forum, more info on luis DRzCalderon Posted 2/6/2009 6:05:46 PM message detail http://www.telegraph.co.uk/scienceandtechn...ed-preview.html From Telegraph's TLAD Preview: "So can we pre-empt the next episode by seeing which characters feature the least prominently in the background? "Yes," laughs Houser, "it's the third person on the left!"" Guess who's that? Luis Fernando Lopez! Guys, houser even gave us a tip on who the main protogonist is going to be in DLC #2 Believe it or not, during the Three Leaf Clover cutscene Luis is actually standing 3rd in line to the left. isn't this enough proof? here's the link to the cutscene. its at 5:03 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0CEkQUFI0qc --- First they ignore you. Then they laugh at you. Then they fight you, Then you win.
AZAZEL
You don't need to be a rocket scientist to know Luis is up next. How would a rocket scientist have any special insight in a matter like this? It's still speculation, albeit a large possibility. As far as I understood, we are actually able to kill Luis? I'd find it rather odd playing as him if I killed him during the mission.
.:Alex:.
Yeah I noticed that too when he mentioned that. I just knew he was talking about that cutscene. But Luis appears to be unarmed in the bank, and I'm afraid he's intelligent enough to not attempt to take on four men with AK-47s with his bare hands. Besides, we all know what happened to the guy who did try to take them on...

Exactly. Luis even shows up at the mission: Diamonds Are A Girl's Best Friend which is later after Three Leaf Clover and Museum Piece. If Luis were to die, then there would be some dramatic cutscene where he falls off a high building to his death or whatever.

How do you know? he could have a larger role in L&D than he had in IV. If that`s the case, in a fortnights time we`re going to want to discuss clues in L&D that lead to DLC2. I don`t think it`s a GTA Next topic, that`s all. EDIT: It`s also a part of GTA IV, so my suggestion would be to start a new forum there called DLC 2 (temporarily) until its title is released Edited February 7, 2009 by II J0SePh X II

EDIT: Moving this to GTA NeXt, where it belongs. I was going to joke around and state that if Luis died, he would spawn in front of the hospital just like what happens every time you die in a GTA game but it would be difficult to state that because of characters that has been killed such as Dimitri Rascalov, Jimmy Pegorino, etc. so it would not make sense then. I really do hope that Luis Fernando Lopez is the next protagonist for DLC #2 because it would make the Impossible Trinity theory incredible. It would be mind blowing. I hope Rockstar won't make some different decision where they'll use a different character because of fans thinking that Luis is the DLC #2 protagonist. You know like "DAMN IT, THEY FOUND OUT WHO'S THE NEXT PROTAGONIST! I guess we'll have to surprise them and prove their theory is wrong." I hope it don't go down like that, lol. uat2d
Luis wasn't the guy in Tree Leaf Clover!!! It was just a guy that looked like Luis! It wouldn't make any sense if Luis was the guy in the bank! Luis, who gunned down some people in the museum, wouldn't risk don't act in case of being stuck in a bank robbery and later questioned by the police... Saying that Luis was the one in Tree Leaf Clover is saying that one of Mikhail's bodyguard also has an profile on LoveMeet.net (as a gay) and is also one of the most wanted in Algonquin in Fish Market South! Of course not, the bald guy I just mentioned is just the same skin used different times representing different people, just like the Luis' skin is also used in Tree Leaf Clover representing a civilian! Now correct the news in GTA4 Network!
