Hey Norm,

I don't see why AMD can't have it's own benchmark thread. I'll post in both threads

if it will make everyone happy.

Could probably squeze a lot more out of it, but those are just the settings it sets me + a little bit more view distance added to reach the 512mb. Will probably try some command lines later on.

Oh yeah i envy intel users.......

for being rich f*cks.

blush.gif

jk.

just think if AMD wasn't in business we'd be paying half a grand for a dual core celeron @ 1.8 ghz.

people like me thank jebus for AMD. ie being able to have a quad core computer and still have money left to eat. If i had 2,000 dollars to buy a new intel system, id still buy AMD.

And no hard feelings to intel fans i still inlove.gif you.

They are both great cpu's dont get me wrong. Just being arragont and saying AMD doesnt even compare to intel is a misstatement. I get 60 fps, and my lowest fps is 39fps in gtaIv. With my specs and high textures. So, in all honesty im happy with my cpu/fps right now. wink.gif

The benchmarks show a false read for me.

I have most of my settings done with commandline.txt.

So the results show everything at lowest setting.

To all the AMD CPUs fanboys:

can you post a link to the modern AMD CPUs models with comparison to Intel's, I don't know much about AMD, because I used to look for Intel's only.

yeah I read the disclaimer on cpubenchmark, they clearly do not claim

any liability or stand behind anything they say. if it's a general statement.

then it is my general opinion of their site.
