sammclean23
hi i can run all other games on my tv connected to my desktop. the tv is native at 1280 x 1024 (i think) and will succesfully display any other games other than GTA when I run GTA IV the tv states "video mode not supported" when the displayes are cloned, the game displays fine on the TV using 1024 x 768 in both the game and desktop. however when i enable Sli to be rendered on the TV, the desktop displays correctly but again the same message appears upon running GTA Edited February 7, 2009 by sammclean23
TruXter
Resolution set to high for the tv's capability. HD is not better than a monitor. Turn refresh rate down to native. Change resolution to something the tv can handle. start with 800/600 and work your way up from there.

sammclean23
Just switch which desktop is your primary display have done this, set my montior to be the primary display using Sli (only one can be used anyway when set in Sli), the resolution is most likely the problem but Far Cry 2 is displayed fine using the same res.
