Not everybody have a credit card to make a purchase online. Not everybody lives in USA\Europe to order it from ebay or any other store. Not everybody want to deal with shipping and shipping problems. Not everybody ready to wait 2-3 weeks before game shipped. So it's better to dl it `without paying`. I don't. If I like the song, and I wanna hear the rest of it, I'll buy the CD. But for one song, I'll just get BitTorrent or LimeWire to help me out. In other cases, if I really wanna support an independent band (like Shiny Toy Guns, my favourite band), I'll buy every CD I can find. Vinyls, even. I'll use eBay, Discogs, and any other online service to track down what I want. From now, I own around 20 Shiny Toy Guns CDs, and 2 vinyls. I beated it many times, have cracked version, but i will still go and buy the game - as i already did with gta3 and not i even purchasing another copy (now with map and manual for collection). As for music - i almost never purcashing something what i can't hold in hands and also, of course, there is no way to puchase music what i like in shops.
