lol then don't use the wrong flag and a translator because it's slang  monocle.gif

what I said was: It's a game error, if you have the ps2 version. take an airplane and fly out of the map. after at least a quarter of an hour you must come down the airplane. then there are new gang territories according to the random principle, but I wouldn't save that. rather copy your savegame.

ok?!

I have it for the xbox. Will it work for xbox? If no, I'm going to be freakin pissed off. sneaky2.gif

I don't know if it's possible

It better work dude. I'm not buying no stinking ps2 to play it. I went through 4 ps2s in my life, and they suck. BAD.

calm down I have one of the first ps2's and it's still alright...

those ps2s I like. Slimeline suck. Anyways, I check the internet from head to ass and couldn't find no info if you could play this on the xbox. You can play Blue Hell on xbox, so territory glitch should work for xbox.

how many versions of san andreas are there for the xbox? I have plantium hits.

just do the things I told you. maybe it works maybe not. where is the problem?

I just have a feeling I'm its not going to fricken work. Everytime I try to do stuff on san andreas, and I see people do it soooo fricken easily on youtube and you guys saying it will work. What if it doesn't work for my xbox? Am I going to through it out the window? Less likely. Am I going to snap my san andreas cd? More likely.

you must be aware that many glitches have been deleted in the xbox version because it's newer than the ps2 version...

btw. what other stuff?

I hear people can go to blue hell on ps2 (I can do it on xbox). ps2 users can go to liberty city through blue hell. (xbox users can't which is bullsh*t).

But I don't understand. I see people saying "does it work for xbox?" and the assholes totally ignore it, (on youtube)

I think it works in XBOX, but I'm not 100% sure since I don't have it.

I'm only 100% sure that it works for Playstation (the guy who discovered the glitch had it) and it doesn't in PC (it doesn't work for me). But I've heard it does work for XBOX so try it.

where did you hear it from? Be specific. Details!!

Damn man, you guys need to take it easy on those quotes. They're getting stacked pretty high.

I'm playing SA on PC v2 and I heard the airplane territory glitch doesn't work. So instead I'm using another method. When the Ballsacs or Vagos try to take over one of my territories, I lure them to a neutral (no gang) area and kill them there. Then the area where I kill them becomes GSF turf. Using this method I was able to expand Temple Drive, take over the docks, most of Verdant Bluffs, the VLA turfs, and the northern half of LS International Airport.

However, there is a time limit and if you take too long to kill them you'll lose influence in the original battle area. That's why you have to leave Ballsac and Vago territories next to GSF territories near the edge of the "gang-land" areas (since they only attack your territories that are adjacent to their territories). This means you have to plan what territories to take.

This method is frustrating because sometimes they get stuck at a wall or try to circle around and end up eating up precious time.

I hope the airplane territory glitch doesn't work for the X-box so YOU can cry about it.

Every gang has territories. You just don't see most of them. Triads have red, Mafia has grey and Varrios Los Aztecas and the Mexican Rifa have light blue.

what?, why can't i see the territories on the map as you can!?

As I said previously, that guy used either the territory glitch or a savegame editor. That creates territories all over the map. The strange colours are due to several gangs on the same turf or an activated gang war.

Hm. Neutral territories are actually light brown. I know this because every time I enter one, the location text at the bottom of the display is light brown coloured (much like it occasionally changes purple for Ballas territory for example). Also, the territory is much more of a brown colour than a grey, which is Mafia territory.

As far as I'm aware, from playing the Playstation 2 version of the game the day it came out, there are only three types of territories you can unlock even with the territory glitch. They are green (GSF), yellow (Vagos), and purple (Ballas). Without the territory glitch, territories appear in Los Santos only.

To do the territory glitch you have to get a plane (it can be a boat, but planes work best), preferably a Shamal or AT-400 as they have auto-pilot once you get to a good altitude. Head away from San Andreas in any direction. Keep the game running and busy yourself with something else as this takes a while. Auto-pilot should take over. After a while, say an hour or two, crash into the water and kill yourself. Upon re-spawning, you should notice the map has a few new territories. These will be light purple or light yellow, and it's very difficult to find any Vagos or Ballas in these territories. Only one wave of bat and pistol-weilding gang members attack once you initiate a gang war. These territories aren't attacked once you take them over.

Alex's picture is most likely done using some kind of mod or save-game editor, as there are both orange and red territories in there. Only purple and yellow territories are created by doing the territory glitch. The red could be a flashing territory when he's taking the area over, but the orange can't be.

Anyways, on topic:

The gray area is due to you owning the territory but allowing Ballas to win a turf war there. If you allow them to win several more turf wars then the area will become increasingly purple, and less GSF members are seen, until it's full-controlled by Ballas.

what's the reason for the vago territory near the boat school?

and why aren't there Rifa, Triad and other territories? I mean in the official guide there is a picture with violett turf (near zeros place) on the radar.

Orange means both Ballas and Vagos are there (impossible in normal gameplay but he obviously modified the savegame). Purple and yellow don't give orange when mixed together but this is a game.

However, I used a savegame editor to give territories to the Mafia and I swear they didn't have any colour.

The Vago territory, if it appears (it never did for me), it's caused because you unknowingly activate the territory glitch when you fly to Liberty City during "Saint Mark's Bistro". There are no gang wars with Triads or Rifas, that's something which was apparently dropped out during the game development.

It may be a good idea locking this. The topic question has been answered and this is going off-topic. Since I'm responsible for the way this topic has taken (I've posted many off-topic posts, I admit it), I'm not going to post on this topic anymore.

The only way is to kill the gang members there.

I know, it is annoying when the territory is so faint that killing 5 guys doesn't even set off the gang war.

How do you turn the Autopilot on ?

It does it automatically if you fly out to sea, or whereever.

Its safer to just fly out to sea, then let go of throttle and watch it. Dont press any buttons but be ready to save it if autopilot isn't on.

Basically, in a shamal, autopilot makes the plane go slower because it is just glider but what it'll do is go up quite high, then dip down and the wings will start to correct it and put it back up.

Be careful flying in a storm, though. I have left it flying for a while, only to come back and see CJ singing at Angel Pine hospital becasue the plane ran into and storm and crashed.

The red, grey and blue territories do exist. Hence why the other gangs can even appear at all. You can only trigger these areas by altering the game or through a very screwy glitch however, because they have been disabled because the ability to take over these territories was dropped during development. But they do indeed exist. Sometimes, on the PS2 version at least (I have yet to see this on the PC version), the area text for the Four Dragons Casino changes to a red colour much in the same way a Ballas one turns purple or whatever. Although, like with other normal territories, this is rare and happens randomly.

Well, flying for a shorter amount of time will put less territories with less influence in each one, on the map. So, it is best to just fly for as long as possible. I dont think 30mins is long enough to do the glitch properly.

EDIT: Go here for further information:

Territory Glitch
