udedenkz
At default I get 24-25FPS, low everything, a bit more than 25% draw distance I think I got a 4FPS increase with the default rederflags configuration settings... EDIT: Adding No Bullet Holes and Over bright - I got +7 FPS. So all these 0/1 values are just on and off switches for particular objects? I will test it out some more, now disabling some other useless things. Kudos EDIT: Will add to sig, this is a very useful tool. wesley123
It didnt change anything, turned rendering off, but apart from an ugly looking game i didnt get a fps increase.
udedenkz
It didnt change anything, turned rendering off, but apart from an ugly looking game i didnt get a fps increase. With the default render flags setup, I didn't get any difference graphically. But, benchmarkvise, I got up from 25FPS to 29FPS. The tweak that disable all shadows, actually doesn't do anything, as I think it pertains to Grainy Shadows and not the smooth shadows - I already have disabled the grainy shadows - and even with that renderflag - nothing is changed, there is still smooth lightning everywhere. You need to run benchmark, it might be that more powerful computers will get a performance difference of 0-2 FPS while weaker ones will get more like 3 - 7 FPS. I am going to keep on using this setup, flags=00010001100010000001100110101111 - default + no bullet holes (not noticable imo) + big shadow tweak (which maybe is being overwritten by disable grainy shadows tweak) 30FPS now. 17-20 during cutscenes Edited February 7, 2009 by udedenkz
_CP_
Wow! This give me a 7+FPS. Thanks Alex! Edit. It's possible to use few flags an one time? Edited February 8, 2009 by City_Poke912
udedenkz
Which flag turns off water? The water is not rendering, just wandering which flag is responsible.
WTFX
rofl, i don't know how no-one noticed this earlier, but when i applied this thing to my gta iv w/o changing the flags (using the defaults thus) i noticed Niko's hair looked a bit weird... Yeah, it flattens his hair completely, not sure what else is changed, or does it just give a haircut to the whole liberty city..
