Yeah so how about we talk about the setting of RDR3 ?

Lets just say rockstar acknowledges red dead revolver as a game in the series but they always want real goals in their games

Revolver felt like a "f*ck yeah cowboys" game to me

And Redemption is all about the dying west, similar to GTA IV and V it wants to tell us something about american history

I really hope its the "Real" west this time

Brutal, exciting, winter and desert, hateful eight style

I just have that familiar feeling R* is going to announce something. RDR for X1, its too good to be true.

Probably been already said, but I doubt it would be called "Red Dead 2" or "Red Dead Redemption 2" or "Red Dead Redemption Episode 2" or any of that unrealistic shiznaz.

 

Rockstar named their previous game before Red Dead Redemption "Red Dead Revolver". So, I highly believe they will name it "Red Dead Retriever" or "Red Dead Raspberry" or anything that begins with R.

 

Here are some sample names I have thought of which may be the title of the next game:

1. Red Dead Requiem

2. Red Dead Rejection

3. Red Dead Rapid

4. Red Dead Radical

5. Red Dead Reaction (Copyrighted by TheFineBros)

6. Red Dead Range

Red Dead Retribution is better.

So, starting with 'R' + three syllables + a meaning that can be at least vaguely shoehorned into an Old West (+ Mexico) themed story... the list of potential titles for the sequel is not that long. I think 'Revenge' (two syllables, but whatever) and 'Rebellion' seem too obvious though.

- played Max Payne 3 for as long as it was around and supported.

- bought GTA V 3x, still playing online, when my gf and baby give me some "free"time and when I'm not at work

- the only other developer I support wholeheartedly is REMEDY, and Quantum Break is just two months away, so yeah I will play games by other studios...just none around these days!

- also, kind of regularly, in monthly-intervalls I guess, I play a few sessions of L.A. Noire, GTA SA, GTA VC....just...

 

...sorry but there is NO game that comes close to RDR...and there is no "replacing" it, just throwing in anything to fill that void....nuh-uh...won't work!

 

also, because it's been 4 years since R* have announced anything. and because R* is in development for the next Red Dead title for at least 3 years now.

Yeah good article. That's the side of LA you don't hear reported too often. I've known a couple of people who worked in the movie industry there and they are by far the biggest bullsh*t artists I've ever known. Unsincere, users of people.

 

 

I wonder if Rob had been greeted by RDR fans at the car dealership he works at, or his farm? No stalker. I did imagine fans showing up at Weithoff Farms, and since an RDR fan or two did show up..then they could help with some minor chores there.

 

As far as Los Angeles and the movie industry, I much prefer New York City and being a fashion photographer. No darkside to the NY industry. And it's certainly not The Wild East compared to Hollywood Actors/Actresses, and how much control their agents have over them.

The amount of people I need to correct on this matter is quite frankly baffling. I just corrected someone on twitter like less than an hour ago. I mean, I know I didn't hear much about Red Dead Revolver when it first came out, and I only just found out about it not that long ago, but it doesn't help when all these websites are reporting about "RDR2". Perhaps it was overshadowed by San Andreas, which wouldn't surprise me, but they should f*cking know their history if they're game journalists. I'm not trying to come at you specifically, it just drives me nuts then people call it that. Red Dead Redemption is already Red Dead 2.

 

Could it come out this year? Yeah, they've been quiet for 6 years about the prospect of the game(If there is one), there is no way every single person at R* is working on GTA Online, or even had been working solely on GTA V. Far as I know, R* San Diego who I believe were in charge of making RDR only worked on Max Payne 3, and helped with GTA V. There's no way they haven't been working on something else, RIGHT?!

 

A new Red Dead game would surely be the greatest thing.

duuuude, take it easy. If you think about it, people calling the next game RDR 2 are not that wrong, in a sense, since there was only ONE RDRedemption...so far...so the next game, IF it was called Redemption again, would be RDR2.

I'm pretty positive, R* wouldn't call a game "Red Dead Redemption 2". R* San Diego made Red Dead Revolver, why would they just not continue it with Red Dead *Insert another 3 syllable R word here*. I'm not really angry, like I told him, It wasn't directed solely at him. I was just making a point. It's more towards the people in charge of causing hype for the next Red Dead who call it "Red Dead 2". Like you said, it could be RDR 2, but I've seen a ton of articles that call it "Red Dead 2" as if game journalists are unaware of the fact that Red Dead Redemption is, in essence, Red Dead 2.

 

It's just annoying. It's like someone that should know and be able to spell your name, but just forget how, and then they do it over and over again.

I know it's not going to be called Red Dead Redemption 2, I just used it as a place holder until the real title is revealed, plus it's less to type than "Red Dead Sequel".
