Look like RDR2/RD3 will be announced at PlayStation Experience

http://www.kdramastars.com/articles/58084/20141202/red-dead-redemption-2-update.htm

It could be Agent. It's a playstation event and Agent is a playstation exclusive

Oh and don't trust everything you read on the internet unless it comes from a reliable source most of it is bullsh*t just like that site

No man. No first person view!

Dedicated third person view with amazing character animations and physics, just like Red Dead Redemption. Just do one thing and one playable character and make it f*cking amazing. Which it will be.

Gta 5 has way too much going on, they didn't dedicate all their time to making one thing perfect like they used to. They dedicated their time to making many things of average quality (first person view, three playable characters). And yes it is average quality! Red Dead Redemption has better physics and character animations than Gta V on Playstation Four.

Remember, quality, not quantity.

RDR has better physics? In exactly what way? Explain please.Character animations mainly. Running, jumping ect. They're more fluid and realistic, V's animations are very robotic.

Only video I could find but it's pretty good.

R* focus on co-op. f*ck IT R*, FOCUS ON STORY MODE AGAIN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I hope this is just a rumor.

Whether or not they focus on co-op has little effect on the story. It's not an either or scenario.

Go spew that garbage elsewhere.

Modder was in the walls yesterday at Las Hermanas. No one could kill him bit he killed everybody. Where's the fun there? Being in the wall and knowing no one can shoot you.

Rumor floating around that next Red Dead will have some form of co-op.

http://www.neogaf.com/forum/showthread.php?t=945229

Amazing how all it takes for people to believe anything is some random guy on a forum going " So I talked to R* "

Guess that's why they call em rumors. Plus the poster in that thread talked to a mod on there, proved he wasn't completely bs and they left it open. (That's how its happened in the past at least)

Lelouch The Zero

Quick question, is this real? I found this while browsing for a new Red Dead/Remaster and found this:

red-dead-redemption.jpg?w=600

Link to article: http://www.kdramastars.com/articles/42134/20141003/red-dead-redemption-ps4-xbox-one-and-pc.htm

I read that it's fake but I wish it were true, it would make me save up money to get a PS4 and buy the game again, with GTA V too of course (and TLoU Remastered).

I know probably been confirmed fake months ago but still.

I have a feeling his balls haven't dropped yet so he needs to do that to feel big and bad.

Is there any news at all about RDR 3?

Is there any news at all about RDR 3?

I don't think so, but knowing R* they're probably in development already. For quite some time most likely, My guess at least since 2013.

We should see the next Red Dead title in late 2015/early 2016. And it will be super awesome, and hopefully will include an optional FPV and various camera options! Can't wait...

Yeah i hope it does come out this spring or summer.

I really enjoyed RDR it's the only game where i played the story mode more than two times.

Nah I find that FPV takes away the immersion between you and the protagonist. It makes you not care as much for the character. Can you imagine RDR in FPV? Do you think that you would be so emotionally attached to John if you could only see his face in cutscenes? I don't believe so.

I know people are saying that if we had the option but this is even worse, I feel, because if its anything like GTA V (next gen) you spend a lot of time between the two and that kills immersion too. Keep it 3rd person I say.

2013 I doubt they would wait that long before developing the next game.

My guess would be development of the next gamee began in 2011 or 2012 at the latest

listen....you have your opinion...but saying that the option to switch between camera angles kills immersion is just not "true", makes no sense. was i attached to john even though most of the time I just saw his back? yes I was. now would I be attached to a new character if I could see through his/her eyes? of course I would and moreso, WHY THE F*CK NOT? I just don't understand this negativity towards this option...

it's like saying: yeah well I don't want an optional bigger spoon for my soup...I just want that normal spoon and I don't want to see any other spoons on the table

FPV = more depth....it's like, mathematical fact or something....

Your right I do have an opinion. That's why I said "I find" and "I feel" etc. it's what I think. It doesn't make it right or wrong. Anyway, with the option of both views I thought (oh look that buzzword again) that even between GTA V last gen and next gen that last gen was more immersive. However, that's how "I" feel and probably most other people.

Seriously I don't know how many times and how many different ways I have to explain it before you get it man...you can't just have a first person view as "just an option" in a third person game without sacrificing things and pissing of the third person view players. Either you solely focus on first person and do an amazing job or solely on third person and do an amazing job, not both.

Either spend the whole development time working on first person view and perfecting reload animations ect or spend the whole time working third person view and perfecting character animations, character physics ect. Not try and do BOTH with half the effort on first person and half the effort on third person.

yeah I hear ya, but if someone says that in 1+1 = 3 in THEIR opinion, then it's just flat out wrong.

well, have you played GTA V remastered on new gen consoles? FPV simply ADDS a certain depth to the world the game takes place in, fact. it just wasn't available before, it doesn't take away from the immersion, it just gives you the option to look at things from another point of view, a point of view you're not even forced to make use of.

now, people's interpretation of immersion. immersive is up to your own point of view. Max Payne 1 for example, to ME, is highly immersive just by the way of storytelling, through the comic book strips. more immersive than high resolution expensive cutscenes in Watch Dogs or whatever. others would say it's bullsh*t though. that's up to debate for sure. But arguing that an option to look at things differently makes a game less immersive just doesn't sound right to me. in my opinion, adding camera options, as in giving people the choice to change a point of view, simply ADDS to the atmosphere, thus to the immersion you can achieve, OR WHATEVER....damn...not hatin...just sayin, can't be that difficult to understand what I'm tryin to say and realize that it's "accurate", "true" or "logical".

I know very well that even though we talk about it in a way for some time now, that it isn't simply an "option". I know damn well they have to make thousands of animations, motion capturing, etc. but I wouldn't know why or how "TPV players" would be pissed of, just because the developers added more animations, tweaked the aiming mechanics, the movement and combat behaviour, A LOT probably, in order to offer more than just TPV, but also FPV <--- THE view when it comes to immersion (just my opinion though)

What I think you're saying, is that R* isn't able to fully deliver an experience when they offer twice the experience, by changing points of view(s). what makes you say that? are you saying that GTA V did feel choppy or half-hearted in combat, gunplay, whatever...because R* had that FPV scheeme in mind all along? FPV ruined TPV gameplay? is that what you're saying? Cause unless you imply something like that I'm not sure I understand what it is you're trying to say, sorry.

imagine RDR as it is, the combat system, movement, the gunplay, everything - and now imagine you get all that in FPV too, WITHOUT feeling like TPV feels half-hearted or whatever?! I think R* is very able to deliver that double dip of views, they just proof'd that with V remastered...*sigh*. what is the deal? seriously let's talk this through.....I'm curious

FPV in red dead? no lol

why not?

I would've said the same thing about GTAV until I actually saw how Rockstar implemented the first-person angle. and it's been awesome and I can't imagine GTAV now without it.

there's no reason why FPV wouldn't work in Red Dead.

I would i agree that FPV immerses you with the world. However, from a storytelling standpoint it is the opposite, you cannot get a bond between you and the character and have a emotional connection to them in comparison to TPV. The story being the main praise for RDR, which it has won many game of the year awards, it would be important to keep the same basic theme throughout the series.

Yes I have GTA V on the Xbox One and I don't think I was attached to the protagonists as I was last gen.

Also, FPV worked well in GTA V because all of the animations were made with only TPV in mind (last gen). Then they were some animations were changed with both in mind but mainly FPV (next gen). So you have extremely well polished animations only because so much time had been spent on it.

it has little to nothing to do with the visual presence of the protagonist if you ask me. it's rather the number and simply the character of protags you play, and of course your state of mind etc., that determine whether you can "bond" with a protagonist or not. in case of GTA V you're given 3 characters, RDR gave you one character to follow...and another one later on. I guess it's easier to identify with just one protag, but being able to see them from behind or whatever, or to look through their eyes, well it makes a difference if you ask me but it certainly doesn't take away from immersion in terms of storyline. in cutscenes, the part where they show you the story progress, FPV is being replaced by a default clip or something anyways.
