When R* release the 1st footage gameplay of GTA IV for the press, they used Xbox 360 as a platform.

Well one of the first games to use RAGE was VCS(although a very primitive version) but RAGE has been made for PS3, PC, Wii and 360(PS2 in early stages). And All the websites point to it being the PS3 version. Oh and I bet the gameplay will be the PS3 version.

SERIOUSLY. Holy Bumf*ck, my mind has just melted. Too much information, too many visuals, gahaosifjosifhsdfsdfdf.

 

That's more information than I ever would've dreamed we'd get. This is honestly enough to tide me over.

 

I know it's early, but...'best Rockstar game ever' is swimming through my mind. I won't dare screencap/analyze that. Too much. Everyone needs to watch that video 30 times. Start now.

Hell yeah I did. I saw too much in fact, my mind couldn't register it all. Rockstar must really been in the Christmas spirit.

 

We got HUD, we got crosshairs, we got live combat, horse riding, a dog attack, John doing evil sh*t, lassoing dudes, an in-game inventory menu, the knife game, cutscenes, story, etc. etc. etc.

Amazing video, the game just looks stunning .

 

Atleast they've made the collectables better, instead of going to a random certain spot, you're looking out for specific land marks and stuff, that should stop a fair bit of boredom collecting.

 

I love the slow-mo shooting in Western games, so i'm going to love Dead Eye.

Sneaky Rockstar. Instead of showing us what the store is selling they showed us what John's selling! Oh well, theres still some interesting stuff there. Seems you can sell not only furs, but meat and little trophies, and can collect plants to sell as well.

Found This On MTV: The 3 game areas revealed...

 

 

Like "San Andreas," the world in "Red Dead" is split up across 3 territories:

 

New Austin – Modeled after Texas. Think plains, dust and armed individuals.

Nuevo Parasio – Across the border in Mexico. More dust, more canyons, bigger hats.

West Elizabeth – Think Denver. Pine trees, some elevation, maybe even some snow.

 

...

 

Find Flowers

See, something you couldn't do in "GTA!" In "Red Dead" you can pick flowers and sell them to herbalists to get healing medicine. The flowers weren't specified, but I'm sure they are very self-actualizing.

I agree. It's how Karmic systems should work. Not just good or bad options, but lots of grey.

About the things the guy couldn't make out when John was selling stuff and his inventory

In the store the last two were Bighorn meat and Bighorn Horns.

In his inventory the deed was a Pleasance deed and the package was a Nasalide package which is Some sort of steroid that prevents the release of substances in the body that cause inflammation.

And I found out you can rob people.

Seems like John's gonna be stocked with medicine for long fights. I know you can buy booze at the General Store and drink it for a quick boost in strength. Very cool. It's becoming more and more like an RPG, but without all the fiddly stat-tracking. Just pure gameplay.
