Just did the most badass bank heist ever. Smooth.

 

Got that Duster Coat and bandana on, took the train to Armadillo (riding in the cargo area)

Jumped out, made my way to the bank, made sure there were no witnesses, smashed the window, cracked the safes and escaped without firing a single bullet.

Smooth.

After reading this I tried the same thing but I kept getting caught. Then I realized that my Honor was too high. Then I used the cheat for low Honor and robbed the bank again. I did it properly. No witnesses, no shots fired. biggrin.gif

 

Also, I wanna know if you can rob banks in multiplayer. Haven't ever tried it but I sure am gonna do it tonight! icon14.gif

Hey, this is probably a dumb question. But, if you have the Game of the Year edition of the game and you connect to the online servers, do you connect to different servers than if you had the regular vanilla game?

Just started playing this game. Chose Hardcore instead of Normal, because I like some challenge off the game. And man, it's so great! The vibe is one of a kind.

Does anyone know how to play Liar's Dick in RDR? I am having a rough time trying to figure it out, and no one else I have talked to seems to understand it either. Does anyone on here understand it? Please explaine it to me. I'm not sure what to do.

I found Liar's Dice pretty easy to learn in RDR, I still don't know how to play poker.

 

Anyways, what you're essentially supposed to do is if you have the starting bid, take a guess at how many dice there will be of a certain quantity.

 

So if I guessed "2 sixes" with the "sixes" being the 6 on the dice facing up, then others would get a chance to either call a bluff, call spot-on, or raise bid.

 

Bluff - Other person thinks your guess is too high. If the guess is right, then they lose a die. If it is infact a bluff, then you lose a die.

Spot-on - Somebody says your guess is spot on. If your guess is right, then you and everybody else (besides the one who called spot-on) loses a die. If it isn't spot on, the one who called spot-on loses a die.

Raise Bid - Change the bid, however atleast one value must be raised.

 

Essentially, you just need to keep your dice and make everyone lose lose theirs.

First off, this belongs in the Red Dead Redemption thread.

 

Secondly and a little more on topic: The aim of the game's to stab around the gaps between your fingers as fast as possible without cutting or harming yourself.

 

EDIT: Jesus I need to sleep it seems. Anyway, the aim of the game's simply to eliminate the other players in the game by guessing their dice rolls and to be the only person with dice remaining at the end of the game.

 

For example if I have five dice and I roll them and get three of them showing the number three, then I can say I've got three threes, if anyone bids higher saying they rolled their five die and got four of them showing the number four face up then they would win the round.

 

Should they win then you and anyone else playing has to give up a single die while they lose none of theirs.

 

You can challenge a player and see if they're bluffing about their hand, if it turns out that they were bluffing they have to give up one of their dice. The aim of the game's to make sure you're the last person in the game who's got any dice, lose all of your dice and you're out.

 

And of course the higher you bid the more likely you are to be challenged. So for example if say you've got two sixes rather then four sixes you're less likely to be called a liar.

I did ask people on the RdR webpage. So far no one has answered me on there. I got views, no answers as of last time I checked which was eariler today. So that is why I asked on here. This bunch of people seem to know a lot about games and side missions. I knew I'd get an answer on here quicker. I also have asked people on YT and looked at videos. Still, no one can explaine it to me.

Worst of all, it's a scrap I have to complete to get the Bollard Twins Gang Outfit. Anyone have tips on how to complete it?

It's easy. Hold R2 or L2, I forget, to line up the horseshoe. Then pull back on the stick, pull up and release when the line reaches the middle line. Easiest RDR minigame IMO.

Yeah I know you play as Jack and all that, but I just want an outfit that's TOTALLY different from John's. And from what I've unlocked so far, they're basically John's outfit with some changes and add-ons.

I hated that minigame so much. Every time I lost I'd grab that other f*cker, tie him up, burn his ass to hell, and unload a barrel from my revolver into him and take my money back. So many lives lost due to that devilish game.

There are quite a few really. The Bollard Twins and Bandito are the only ones that's really similar to John's default.
