"RDR is 28sq.miles big"

And

"RDR is only as big as LC, SA is still the largest"

Which one is true?

Neither.

Red Red Redemption's world is way bigger than IV's Liberty City, but San Andreas is bigger, but not by much.

Even now the answers are conflicting. How can I be sure peeps? Remember, the answer to this is vital now because the size of V is directly proportional to the size of this.

E: On a different note, this will have no installation and size problems in a four GB Xbox right?

I think the PS3 version install size was 5-6GB.

I found the install size for X360 version is 6.7GB. Here is the link: http://www.stripesonfire.com/xbox-360-game-install-list/

You might need to buy a separate HDD. Ask someone who has an X360.

Hi guys ,

I sent a mail to R* asking them to make the harcore difficulty mode from the Goty edition avaible for the players who "just" having the regular one . Do you think this exclusivity makes sense or it's fair to ask an update or a DLC for enjoying this mode ? Or do you having any info why it may not happens ?

I let you know if I get a response but it's been two weeks lol . I know it's just a mode , no big deal but I think it may be a good playing experience .

Yeah of course R* should add this to the regular game. Its a bit unfair for those who didn't buy the GOTY edition. I bought the GOTY edition but haven't played the Hardcore difficulty yet. Is it worth it?

RDR is bigger than San Andreas.

Nay, http://www.gtaforums.com/index.php?showtopic=531982&st=0

Houser stated it was bigger than San Andreas, I believe. Unless he was literally talking about the whole map.

Random fun fact: Marston is the first protagonist (and currently, only), in a Rockstar game, to be seen smoking a cigarette.

Hardcore mode increases both the difficulty and realism of the Red Dead Redemption Single Player experience. This mode is exclusive to the Game of the Year edition of Red Dead Redemption for both Xbox 360 and Playstation 3. Here is a list of notable changes:

Aiming is permanently set to Expert.

Maximum health is reduced by half.

Health regenerates more slowly and begins refilling after a longer delay.

Dead-eye does not automatically fill over time. It must be earned by killing enemies or using items.

Horses do not regenerate. If killed, you must purchase, steal, mount, or break another horse and then hitch it to a post to earn the right to call it by whistling. Note that horse deeds are still available and unlimited, but twice as expensive.

Store items cost more. Sell values are lowered.

Reward/drops/looting amounts are lowered (ammunition and money).

Pardon letters are more rare.

Fame and Honor gains are reduced.

Mini-game buy-ins are lowered to match the scarcity of money.

Warhorse deed must be purchased for $10,000 (available in any General Store).

Deadly Assassin outfit increases the amount of Deadeye gained from kills, rather than over-time regeneration.

Well , again it's not big deal but I just don't get why it's an exclusive feature . Seems fun for an other walkthrough !

Yes, i haven't played normal mode since i got the GOTY edition, Hardcore is way more fun, i don't like easy games, and normal is too easy imo.

Astounding! Amazingly immersive!

The world appears to be humongous up to me and yet some people are saying this is only as big as LC?

Need to pick this up again. Finished both Undead Nightmare and vanilla stories... but jezus what an awesome ride it was. Should get back on the saddle and do the sidequests/missions and minigames (and obviously achievement whoring).

Eventhough I haven't played it that much (apart from main storylines and a I guess 20+ hours of multiplayer it is still one of my all time favourite games.

I'm having a problem;I can't read sh*t on the TV (SD).

The only solution to your problem is to get an HD TV. I know what you're saying, I had the same goddamn problem with pretty much every Xbox and PS3 game when I played them on an SD TV. It was horrible.

Yup same here. I still managed to play it. Just sit closer to the TV.
