Has anyone lost "safe" towns without warning? I've lost McFarlane's ranch and Blackwater while saving or travelling.

for those who have done the side mission

LOL, just finished that mission. biggrin.gif

That mission was great like i must say.

So a question about this side quest...

MAJOR SPOILER!!!

Do you let the last sasquatch live or kill him?

I was going to let him live, cause you know like damn, but I ended up killing him because I don't want any zombie sasquatches haunting my ass. It waS funny because he was like all 'shoot me, I have no family' so I did. Right in the face but he didn't go down, and tried to attack me. So I just blasted him again and killed him. Kinda felt bad about it, but he was gonna kill me and my babies! I'll probably let him live next time...

Probably means that you let all survivors die on a previous occasion, there are no obstacles in the path of the Undead so they can just walk in and the town is "lost".

I'm gonna get stoned out of my mind, download UN and have many lulz tonight. My mate that's already got it said he's very impressed by it, and judging from Rockstar's trailers I do like the vibe that the game seems to have.

I've lost like 3 towns, I accidentally shot one of the guys, so they all turned on me, and I had to put them and the zombies down..Meh.

Completed the single-player this morning. Thoroughly enjoyed it, although my only complaints would be that it was a bit too easy and there was a lack of "boss" zombies which I was hoping would be a feature. Been getting into Undead Overrun this evening - blows Nazi Zombies out the water in terms of difficulty and scope. They've really pulled it off nicely with the coffin system and the classes. Blunderbuss is bloody useless though! tounge.gif

Only trouble is the team-mates - I know I could easily be reaching Round 30 if I had at least semi-competent compadres. Actually got a decent random posse tonight, but I disconnected during the game. Typical.

I beat the single player yesterday. I'm going for the final challenges, which I almost completely neglected until now. Hunting wolves, cougars and bears in tall trees with just a torch is pretty fun.

I haven't gotten into multiplayer yet.

When they have mics, I usually get to Lvl. 30 no problem, cept for when me and a guy were stuck on top of a building during sudden death. We lasted 5 minutes surprisingly.

Yeah, who knew Herbert Moon was such a bigot. I'll think twice the next time he want me to help stop someone who robbed his store.

You mean you never played a poker game with him in Armadillo where he went on about how John Marston was a Zionist agent?

Maybe, but I didn't know it was him.

The only thing I didn't like about UN, was that I didn't unlock the new outfits until after I became an undead. Although, the Legend of the Apocalypse outfit looked good on zombie Marston. Other than that, it's well worth the money. Like a mini TLAD or BOGT.

I was thinking about doing something similar once the standalone disc comes out! As of right now though, no weed and no UN either sad.gif

beat the single player of UN over at a friends house today. i laughed until i cried over the ending; out of happiness and weed smoke, i was not expecting that at all, it was absolutely amazing.

and the surf punk band The Kreeps getting played in the middle of that one mission. I sh*t my pants with excitement.

I felt like i was in a western version of Return of the Living Dead.

That's a hard comparison to make. The only problem is that they both have interesting story lines, and they both have some pretty sweet twists in them. To be fair, I prefer John Marston as he is more bad ass, but do remember that GUN is an old game, so of course I'm gonna say the new one is better.

CharmingCharlie

That has been on Rockstars support site for ages, it is actually related to problems downloading the red dead redemption sound track via the PC. Specifically it is for dealing with problems downloading the sound track from this site :-

http://www.rockstargames.com/reddeadredemp...dtrackdownload/

It is not an indication the PC is getting RDR and like I said that support section has been there since the game practically came out on the consoles.

To somewhat answer my own question I did go to my game shop and they're getting it in (although they aren't advertising it at all). It's the Undead Nightmare Collection, it includes all the DLC's and it should be released on Nov. 26th.

Finally did it biggrin.gif

Got payed friday and right after work ran to gamestop picked up my brand new PS3 slim and this game. Been playing it nonstop aside from having to work saturday... what a long day.

Leave it to rockstar to make me like westerns lol and its like the ONLY game my dad seems interested in.

Joined my nephew online (he's had it for ages) and was up till 3 in the morning playing multiplayer.

so totally worth the 400 and I'm gonna try and get the DLC later.

Red Dead Redemption coming to PC early next year.

It is believed that Rockstar Toronto will be doing this port.

Do you know that Rockstar Toronto actually involved in the development of Red Dead Redemption? No? So am I, until I read this.

Since Red Dead Redemption was planned as PS2 and XBOX game, Rockstar San Diego actually developed the game way before

PS3 and XBOX 360 were announced. However for some reason, Rockstar San Diego probably busy with other projects so Rockstar Toronto was somehow assigned to redo the graphics work etc. that were provided by them.

And according to this, Rockstar Toronto visited that site with recorded IP and I believe they were trying to "hide" the secrets, which means the possibilities of Rockstar Toronto is currently developing the Red Dead Redemption PC Version are higher.

Based on these, the PC Version will be released before April 2011.

An announcement regarding this will be made between December 2010 and January 2011.
