I've pre-ordered the Limited Edition awhile ago and I still know nothing about this game other then hearing that's it's like GTA:Horse/Wild West etc.

 

Gonna be surprised come May 21st.

Off to pre order today. Also, going to ask about a Midnight launch? Which would be my first ever one. Excited now.

 

Oh, and I'm not watching game play videos, there really is no point. I watched one before Gta IV though and the game still blew me away, but still. I'm just going to wait until i play it.

I'm not usually keen on watching gameplay vids before release but I couldn't resist this one...

 

I'm just going to copy/paste my full thoughts on what was seen that I posted on another forum (there were no spoilers)

 

"The movement looks hella dodgy...

 

He goes from walking to a full sprint in an instant, completely chaning animation - it doesn't look natural at all...

For example, Niko would start running when you were tapping run and after about a second he'd have reached a sprint whereas John just goes from a walk to a sprint...

and he looks silly when he slows down too...

 

I'm not going to put the game down just yet though, I'm still ridiculously hyped for it but this is just one gripe I had.

 

The voice acting was great aswell, I don't know what the complaints were about.

Both Marston's and MacFarlane's voices fit well and at the start they were shouting to eachother from their horses at a slight distance thats why to some they sounded off, but to me it sounded more believable given the circumstance. Towards the end of the clip when they converse normally you can hear how fantastic and natural the voice acting is.

 

The weapons look and sound great, the noises sound realistic and they look like they pack a punch.

 

In summary, everything looks fantastic but the walking could be just a bit more fluid."

Just watched that Gameplay Video. Its everything I expected it to be. This is why I have so much faith in Rockstar. The walk to run motion looks fine to me.

 

I was a little concerned about the Audio since there will be no radio. After watching that video they did exactly what I thought they should do. If your not shooting anybody they don't have much but after you start shooting they use music. The sound effects of crickets, townspeople and other wildlife is spot on.......

 

I don't know about anywhere else. But I haven't seen any Advertising for this Game Around Dallas and Fort Worth. So I don't think a backorder issue will arise.......The first thing I do Tuesday Morning is by this game though....lol
