Free DLC and co-op missions, that's going to be quality.

 

I hope Rockstar allow us to play with friends in these co-op missions instead of playing with random-ers like in GTA 4.

This may be a stupid question but is this game a sequel to Red Dead Revolver when it comes to story etc.? Thing is that I never played RDR but I would really like to play this game.

As far as I know it's only linked by name - It's set quite a few decades later aswell so I'd imagine not.

How many of you are excited about John Hillcoat's RDR machinima that's debuting on FOX on May 15th? It's supposed to be 30 minutes long. I'm almost as pumped about that as I am about the actual game.

 

If anyone is unsure what I'm talking about, Rockstar contracted John Hillcoat, director of The Proposition and The Road to make a 30-minute short film using the RDR game engine (think Red vs. Blue, but RDR style). It's premiering on FOX next week and I'm expecting it to be bad ass. It's a story unrelated to the game itself. Mostly just a big show-off for how pretty the game will be.

As far as I know it's only linked by name - It's set quite a few decades later aswell so I'd imagine not.

Maybe John Marston is actually Red from the previous game. It could explain the facial scars. And if it's set a few decades later then it's plausible.

if so thats so epic. or is it just in certain bits of map it snows and stuff. still good either way

I haven't seen anything about seasons but it at least has different climate in different areas (snow in the mountains).

 

Has any Rockstar open world besides Bully had seasons?

i have had problems with my gta4 / elc at connecting with multiplayer for ps3 does anyone think the online for this game will pose the same problems as it being a RS release as well??? i have just bought a ps3 by the way

 

i am going to get a new router to replace my bt one anyway as i have read it has caused problems for many other people since april 08

According to twitter it has a full 24hr day and night cycle with snow sun rain ETC but they didnt specify seasons! allthough they have all the weather included so it would be completly possible, dont forget its been in previous Rockstar games like bully.

We did see snow in one of the early trailers so it's quite possible that the game territory is similar to Just Cause 2, snowy mountains, desert area and cities probably.

The narrator basically says that in a couple of the gameplay vids. He likes mentioning the 'snow capped mountains'.
