I´m writing this totally ashamed and just need to apologize to every one and all the members and administrators of the fabolous GTAFORUMS. Please accept my apologies. I LOVE YOU ALL, (snarf...!) P.S.: The performance of my videocard is really lower now, I believe the "100" attributed to the -percentvidmem command is the cause of its slow and painfull destruction. P.S. 2: I'm not from here, so my english could suck like a real smelly sh*t... Later!! YEAHH! come on... you not that guilty anyway. Its me and GTA_XP that started with the photos... Anyway you shouldn't fill bad, being a prick, this what makes you human and man. wuzzy Posted February 3, 2009 Share Posted February 3, 2009 my advice is forget about using -percentvidmem or at least use less than 100% Reason I make that statement: before patch 1.0.2 my game ran good with the less is more technique/ which was commandline -availablevidmem 0.70 which I guess is similar to doing -percentvidmem 70 For some reason now with patch 1.0.2 I have tested and I have found using neither commandlines is doing any good anymore. So I have removed them and only have -fullspecaudio and -usedurectinput in my commandline file. I tried multiplying the vidmem a couple of time -availablevidmem 1.5 but this always made my textures dissappear and game slow down MUCH quicker. What I'm getting at is, I reckon don't bother with the commanline changing vid mem and see what happens. If anything I suggest lowering availablevidmem so that you cpu can run the game better overall. and also rationing supplies for the game to EAT the memory as it is reportedly does. lastly I can't believe I just read through all the HOGWASH in this thread, but the post and picture with the flaming fart was funny as hell. It's just funny how you write "fill" instead of "feel", "fan" instead of "fun", etc. Go back to school and learn the proper way of speaking this f*cking language, or don't post at all. As someone else pointed out here, if you are running it with basic settings, and haven't overclocked it, it wouldn't catch on fire or melt or burn or what the f*ck. HA HA HA Whats so funny? Do you have guinea pig tickles your dick or something? Not everybody is great in PC's as "you". At OP, runs benchmark and see whats the GPU usage is.
