Picolini Posted February 4, 2009 Share Posted February 4, 2009 The 8500GT PCI-e card is significantly slower than the 8600GT, so a PCI version will be even more so. Take a look here. My DDR3 8600GT 256MB could play GTA SA on highest with full AA, but it would lag a bit, probably got an average 30fps. You can expect the 8500GT to get less than half, seeing as yours is a PCI card. The best way to keep performance up is to leave AA off and get the res down to the lowest you can without hating the quality. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
