GTA SA : LC - II

 

A total conversion mod for San Andreas with thanks to Xrk & the SA LC team

Well, clue's in the title.. This mod uses GTA SA : LC as the base, Permission has been granted for use of the city in the San Andreas engine but by the final product, hardly any of the original mod *should* remain tounge.gif

 

-- Setting --

 

The year is 2001, and the main charactor is the very known Claude Speed.

 

.. So whats changed from GTAIII you ask?

 

Well the answer is simple, first of all GTAIII's Liberty city has been converted into San Andreas enabling use of Multiple new vehicle types likes bikes and planes etc.. The better rendering engine in San Andreas makes the city look clearer also.

 

After driving round the same city for a fair few years (in III, VC and SA lol.gif ) I felt the urge to.. Well up the detail abit on a few of the buildings to bring it up to date so to speak.. But afterwards i realised i had just discovered something remarkable.. The potential Liberty City has is outstanding.. Rockstar only filled half of it in for a start tounge.gif and the low detail buildings and roads make it very easy to re-shape and even re-construct other areas completely. After i had had done 1 or 2 models, i was hitched.

 

This Mod will not be Liberty City as you know it, but how it should of been sly.gif

 

This Mod plans to re-construct MOST of the city, apart from the occasional bit of land or road which will remain from GTAIII.

 

Each building is being used as its own blueprint, to be remade with much higher detail to bring the city up to scratch.

 

--Storyline--

 

The storyline for this Total conversion will be based around that of GTAIII, with some missions being the same.. others altered and alot more completely fresh which will make use of all the new features included not only in the SA engine but other features from witihin the new map itself.

 

--NEW CARS--

 

Yes there will be new cars + bikes , all of which would have been kept from SA, Completely fresh or a GTAIII vehicle revamped.

 

I have roughly 33 new vehicles so far

 

A complete vehicle list is on the way.. so watch this space

 

--Status--

 

This mod is in Early stages. and currently has 4 Developers smile.gif

Thats actually an old picture, the rest of the old Callahan birdge has been removed and the pillars all re-aligned with the new one, which now looks like this:

I know this is TOTALLY far-fetched, but maybe make a 70's version of it! biggrin.gif.

 

Also, if you want I have some Cop Skins that are the standard LSPD and SFPD Guys, except they have NYPD police hats! If you want, I can give them to you. I have reskinned one so he has LCPD Patches on the side.
